I'm finally getting back to card making after stepping away for a few years. I missed it a lot. I was on the OG 2 peas board for years. I noticed a few big changes just stepping away for a bit. I'm catching up on some youtube videos and seeing whats new out there.
Two things stuck me...wow there is a lot of stencil use. I never really used stencils before and now I'm seeing them used in ways I never thought of. Also when did the stamp sets get sooo big? I thought they were 4x6 and now I'm seeing a lot of larger sets 6x8. I ordered beautiful flowers from simon says stamp and it has some beautiful large floral images. I went to store it and it didn't fit in my storage solution. I use those fridge plastic containers and the avery elle sleeves. Makes my label maker heart happy. I stayed away from larger sets like tim holtz because they didn't fit my storage solution. lol. I do have 2 Tim holtz sets but now i'm wondering how everyone stores these larger sets.

Bigger fridge bins & extra large AE sleeves.

I'll be the first to say, "welcome!". I'm sure you'll hear from more folks as the day goes on. I don't mean to be flip (honestly not!), but, get a bigger envelope! Seriously, I use the same storage system you do. What size are your Avery Elle envelopes? I use the extra large envelopes that measure 6 3/4" x 9 3/8" and they hold everything I've bought, so far. You're going to love using stencils. The things they're doing with stencils these days is amazing!
Edit - Well, I thought I was the first to say welcome. Guess I typed too slow!

bigger sleeves... but I dont use fridge bins... I use small milk crates that I get at dollar tree.. the are more sturdy in my opinion and can fit bigger dies and bigger stamps.. I dont have a huge collection yet... but I like the milk crates.. they fit on my shelf easier than a long fridge bin...

I use the same fridge bins for my larger stamps, but store the stamps lengthwise.
