It is a cute set, with some cute examples on the SSS site. I think the “hello friend” sentiment will get the most use. I honestly Have no one that I’d send a “you are my sunshine” card to, and it feels like an odd sentiment for donation cards, but could see a BG stamped with the sunshine sentiment on its own.

I love that Hello Friend sentiment and went searching for the set when it was released. Not a fan of anything else in the set so I abstained. Glad you got it as a free gift.

It is a cute set, with some cute examples on the SSS site. I think the “hello friend” sentiment will get the most use. I honestly Have no one that I’d send a “you are my sunshine” card to, and it feels like an odd sentiment for donation cards, but could see a BG stamped with the sunshine sentiment on its own. In my last batch of cards used you are my sunshine for some senior donation cards even though I usually avoid you and I type sentiments. I figured that for many of them the song would spark happy memories so I wrote a few lines of the song lyrics not including the "please don't take..." part and added a more general "sending sunny thoughts your way" message. Sometimes songs connect with folks with memory issues better than words, so I imagined they might sing along with a carer and feel happy. 🤷♀️ (I had just listened to an interview with the BSTS founder where he shared some sappy stories about non-verbal seniors speaking after reading a card.) Cute stamp  |
