You can’t make this stuff up…. The convicted felon is planning an “awards gala” dinner for the mob that attacked the government on January 6, while the idiot was still president. 🤦🏻♀️ PatriotTakes… ”Trump Will Host January 6th "Awards Gala" in September Event description: "We gather to pay tribute ...to all J6 defendants who have shown incredible courage and sacrifice." From the article… ” Trump Will Host January 6th "Awards Gala" in SeptemberEvent description: "We gather to pay tribute...to all J6 defendants who have shown incredible courage and sacrifice." Donald Trump will host a "J6 Awards Gala" at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster on September 5th. Attendees will have a chance to win a plaque commemorating the MAGA community's purchase of numerous copies of Trump's "Justice for All" song, which briefly earned him a spot on the Billboard music chart.” That song features Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, alternating with January 6th defendants singing the national anthem. Interestingly, attendees at Trump's events often struggle to recite the Pledge and sing along in sync.” x.com/patriottakes/status/1826651335468650497?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

Sure wish it was a made up story. Wish it fiction.

I think this is a big mistake for him. Yes, there are the crazies who agree with it, but one of my town's long time Republican elected officials left the Republican party and is now an Independent specifically because of January 6th. I imagine she's not alone.

Are they still looking to identify some? Maybe the FBI could use this to find some they are still looking for? No idea if any would go that are still wanted but it’s an idea. I know TFG wouldn’t help but …

This is one of the worst things he could do and I think he should do it.

He may have big bail issues if he does it... Hanging out with other convicted felons is normally illegal.... The former president narrowly dodged the ire of prosecutors at last month's Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade pointed out that some of the convention's attendees included indicted "fake electors," and that Trump seen associating with them may have resulted in Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith and/or Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis petitioning the court to incarcerate Trump prior to his trial for consorting with criminal defendants. One staple of Trump's campaign speeches is that the January 6 participants who ransacked the capitol did nothing wrong, and that he would pardon a bulk of them shortly after becoming president if elected to a second term. NJ.com reports that approximately 1,230 people have been charged in connection with the insurrection, with 730 of those pleading guilty and roughly 170 more being convicted in trial by either a judge or a jury. Only two defendants have been cleared of all charges. www.rawstory.com/trumps-gala-honoring-courage-and-sacrifice-of-j6-rioters-may-violate-his-terms-of-rel/

Surely it will be a campaign fundraiser stunt and none of “those people” will actually be invited.

I read something on MSNBC that the tickets for this event are $50K for a group of 12, so my guess is that the people attending the gala wouldn’t be among those who were actually at the Capitol assaulting cops on J6. I’d be willing to venture a guess that the primary “defendant” benefitting from the funds raised “for legal fees” would be Trump himself.
