Good morning.
I'm not doing much today, but dh and I both feel much more awake.
I started a new puzzle last night I'm furiously working on the border.
Dh is still eating fairly lightly, so dinner will likely be a bowl of ramen. What's on your menu?
What is everyone up to this weekend? We will go to the Farmer's Market tmw and that's about it. We're still not doing much.
How is everyone doing? How are our ill loved ones doing?
Wishing everyone a happy, calm, fun and relaxing weekend.

scrapmaven - glad you're both on the mend. Dinner tonight is egg mayo sandwiches, leftover coleslaw, carrot-raisin salad, and there's blueberries and cantaloupe left also. I'll probably cut up some carrot sticks for DD17 who doesn't care for either coleslaw or the carrot-raisin salad. I'm going to try and turn the last of the peaches into a single jar of jam. I also have PT this afternoon and an online crop tonight. So a relatively busy day for me.

Linda, you always have such kind wishes for others. Thank you. I"ll eat your dd's share of coleslaw. Yum. I hope that pt helps you a lot today and that you have a fun crop.

Good evening, Another slow day here. It has warmed up again, so I have stayed in and rested and done some knitting . Had a quick chat to DS2, who was checking on my recovery. I also received a letter from the hospital with an updated report on my stay, this time with histology results. All as expected, so I just need to have an MRI and go back early-mid November for a check up . We are going out to dinner. One of our new favourite restaurants was closed for a while for renovations and have reopened. It is an Asian fusion style and their food is fresh and delicious. scrapmaven - glad to hear you are on the mend.

I'm wearing sweats over my bathing suit to the pool this morning. It's 55° and windy. The clouds are rolling in for a chance of rain. This will be good test to see how I will last in the winter going to AquaFit. I need to run errands afterwards but will probably come home to shower. I have 2 books that need to be picked up in the town just west of us. Dinner will be Chicken Noodle Soup. TGIF my dinner friends!

Happy Friday!
Sending healing thoughts to those who need them.
I've got a fairly slow day at work so I'm catching up on things around the house so I can enjoy my weekend without worrying about house stuff. My sister is in the hospital getting blood transfusions so I'm concerned about her. I'll head up there this weekend and visit with her but hopefully, they won't hold her long. She went to the ER last night and as of this morning, still hadn't gotten into a room yet. I don't know if they are going to keep her but I hope they do until she gets stable.
I'm not sure what dinner will be tonight. I'm picking up a grocery order at lunchtime so maybe something from that. It's going to be 115 with the heat index today so I'm thinking something light like salmon.
Hope you all have a great day!

I was out early to see off my cousin & friend. DH took them to the airport at 5:30 and then is off for meetings in San Diego and wouldn't have me home in time for my 9:30 yoga class so I said good-bye here. The Sunset Market had way too many choices for dinner. Between the 6 of us we ate jambalaya, po'boys, sushi burritos, mac & cheese birria tacos, lumpia, bao and a poke bowl. Then the YA all had freshly baked cookies with ice cream. Tonight dinner will be whatever is on special at the farm store although the salmon mentioned above sounds good and I do have salmon I could pull out of the freezer. teddyw, I should have called our whale watching a trip not a cruise. It was just a 2 hour trip out of the local harbor. Even though we didn't see whales (I've seen plenty over the years but my cousin hasn't), the dolphins were absolutely worth it.

Glad you and the Mr. are feeling better scrapmaven! I have absolutely nothing planned today! I will be a bump on a log! Maybe I will watch something on Netflix ... I did have a date planned this evening but the dude has ghosted me ... haven't heard from him in two days ... oh well, no loss ... the perils of online dating in your 50's! I think I will make the veggie fajitas that I didn't make for dinner the other day ... yum!

I went for my walk early this morning because it’s supposed to get hot today. I’ve done my usual vacuuming of dog hair and I’ll probably throw a load of laundry in but nothing else on my plate today.
DH is going in an ATV ride tomorrow a couple of hours away. I’m babysitting the grandboys in the afternoon.
Supper is unknown at this point.

Hopefully Delta serves you better food than they served us. On the other hand, their bathrooms were pristine which I totally appreciated on the 4 flights! scrapmaven, the pool was wonderful. Fewer people. But it was a tad brisk when I got out of the pool.

Happy Friday dinner friends! scrapmaven I'm glad to hear you and DH are on the mend. sueg so glad your results were as expected, I'm sure you're relieved to have the final results in. @leanec I'm sorry that your date fell thru, Enjoy your quiet day. karenlou have an amazing time!! Tearisci I hope your sister gets a room and answers. DH are in a better place, he went to the ranch, we talked a little, life! I did twist my fragile knee going up the stairs yesterday, so I'm hobbling around, but it's feeling a little better, I'll make an apt with the Dr if it isn't better on Monday. My neighbor took me to get my SUV this morning, now I'm listening to the last section of my Advanced Acc't Manager course, I would like to take the exam tomorrow to get that off of my to-do list but I'll see if I can get psyched up for the exam. No real plans for the weekend, I have to pick up my product basket tomorrow AM and hopefully some crafty time. Dinner will be a baked sweet potato and a protein of some variety. Wishing everyone a great day and weekend ahead!

karenlou , have a wonderful bike riding vacation in France. I can't wait to hear your stories and see your photos. austnscrapaddict , I'm sorry that you twisted your knee and I hope it feels much better by Monday. It's good that you and your dh talked a bit. You've mentioned stuff like this in the past and I hope that your dh will be more amenable to working on communication and kindness, because you deserve kindness.
cadoodlebug, yay for pool time, but nay for being cold afterwards. Then again, I'll take cold temps over triple digits any day.

karenlou enjoy your trip. On my flight a few weeks ago they gave the toiletries in the perfect case for my enamel paints. So many people left them in their seats. I really wanted to get a couple extra for my enamel friends. Dh was not having it though. The food was fine. One of the options was pasta. I just couldn’t bring myself to eat it because I was going to the land of pasta. Glad you’re feeling better scrapmavensueg it’s always good when your tests come back like they should. Now you focus on getting your strength back bc2ca I sort of expected you were close to home. You do live in one of the best cities. I love it there. Haven’t been in over 10 years though. Started the day texting my friend whose DD’s wedding is tonight offering any last minute errands or tasks. She immediately texted for me to come to the venue and help her other friend with the flowers. Then went to help my other friend with more of her dad’s condo clean out. So a full day of stuff. Making homemade veggie & pepperoni pizza for dinner.
