Hello Peas! I have googled and just can't come up with the right words ... I am making five ... yes, FIVE quilts for DH's great nieces and nephews for Christmas. (Am I crazy? YES! LOL) The quilts will be in memory of the children's grandpa. I will be making a quilt label for each one also. Not sure yet it I will be printing them on fabric or machine embroidering them. I have found the standard: "Made from clothes I used to wear, hold it close and know I'm there."
But it just seems so darn sad! I know it's a memory quilt ... But, can you help me think of anything a little more lighthearted but still loving? I'll be using the same saying for each quilt but personalizing it with each child's name and I will put "Love, Grandpa Bill" on it too, I think ... As always, thank you in advance for your help!

I like lines that refer to the quilt bring a cuddle from the person. Maybe really simple like “A cuddle from Grandpa Bill”, or a bit wordier such as “Snuggle up with a cuddle from Grandpa Bill”, or something similar.

Maybe something along the lines of it being in loving memory and with warm hugs from Grandpa Bill? Sorry I can't do any better---I'm not a creative wordy Pea...I have no idea why I'm in this thread.
