So I’ve been on the hunt for princess house glasses. I used to have a set of eight and over the past 10 years I’ve broken every single one of them. Found them on eBay for a pretty decent price from two different sellers. They both arrived today. One was exactly what I ordered, but the other seller sent me the wrong glasses.
I let her know immediately and she is going to put the correct ones in the mail on Monday. She told me to keep the other ones. I feel bad about keeping them. I mean I know it was her mistake. Should I offer to send them back if she credits me the postage or just not worry about it.

Don't worry about it. Keep that message and enjoy them. Keep it just in case.

Don't worry about it. I made that same kind of mistake once when I was selling some things on Ebay, and I did the same thing. To have to make the buyer package something up, possibly need to bring it to the post office or UPS store, pay to send it back to me, then wait for me to refund their return postage---it's a lot of inconvenience placed on the party who did not make the mistake. So I sent out the correct item and let them keep, give away, or donate the incorrect one.

It’s just I get feeling guilty about stupid stuff.

Tender hearts are hard to live with sometimes. lol {{hugs}}

It happens. Mistakes get made. It was not worth it to her to pay the shipping cost to have you return the item. Enjoy them or pass them on. Your choice.

I’m another vote for if you feel guilty maybe pay her a little for the glasses you received in error, but otherwise maybe pass it forward with a random act of kindness to someone else

If you decide you want to try to pay something towards the incorrect glasses (Which I still definitely think you do not need to do. ) be aware that Ebay states that sellers are not allowed to provide details to buyers for alternate payment methods. Even when there is a very understandable reason to need a buyer to send money to a seller later, you have to jump through hoops to make it happen. I once waited 3 weeks for an item to arrive, then told the seller I never received it, and they refunded me. Of course the item arrived the next week, and the only way the seller had for me to re-pay for the item I now had was for me to buy another different item from them, that was the same price, and pay for that other item, with the full understanding that the seller would mark their account that they had shipped the 2nd item, but wouldn't actually ship me the 2nd item. Crazy, right? The system just isn't set up for buyers to pay sellers outside the original transaction.
