I'm just recently getting tired of Disney Dreamlight Valley but I like games geared for kids. I just got Hogwart's Legacy and Luigi's Mansion so I've got a few games on tap but would love to see what else you play.

I played Dreamlight Valley Animal Crossings, Howgwarts legacy which I really enjoyed. Now I'm playing Baldur's Gate. My favorite genre are point and clicks where you solve puzzles. So, I was a huge fan of Sam and Max. You can get those games on Steam for your computer.

Animal Crossing (haven't played in awhile) Runescape Palia Dinkum I have Dreamlight Valley downloaded on my Switch but haven't played it yet. I tried back when I first got it but couldn't figure out the controls. So I gave up. I keep meaning to go back to it, but Palia has sucked me in for now. And Runescape of course which is my long-time game, that also has regular updates so there's never a lack of things to do.

Animal Crossing but not regularly since they stopped doing updates. I have Dreamlight Valley but haven’t really gotten into playing it yet. More recently I’ve been playing Disney’s Illusion Island but I kind of got stuck at one of the boss battles and haven’t taken the plunge to look up a walkthrough on YouTube to see how to get through it. We have a few other Switch games that we haven’t even taken out of the plastic since we got them (Looking at you, Paper Mario).
I also bought the Wii U version of Epic Mickey used from Game Stop, I’d like to play through that again. We had it for the regular Wii back in the day and the camera angles were horrible in some spots, but we fought through it to the bitter end. The Wii U version was supposedly somewhat better. I’d like to play through it the opposite way (you can make decisions as you go for good (paint/restoration) or evil (thinner/destruction) and you end up with different results depending on your choices) than we did initially which was mostly for good.

Stardew Valley, although I haven't played since they did the big update earlier this year
Animal Crossing
For sim-type games, I liked Two Points Hospital (on Steam).
For RPGs, I like Baulder's Gate 3, Elden Ring and The Elder Scrolls series. These are on Steam.
I also like playing boardgames on Steam - so things like Ticket to Ride, Dorfromantik and Lords of Waterdeep.

On my Switch I only play Animal Crossing. I do have other games, but I have not played them. On my phone, I like "logic" type games. Right now I am switching between Number Sums, RoomSort, and Seat Jam 3D. I'll play them for awhile, see something else interesting and start playing that. I don't like merge type games. I also like time management games like the cooking ones. On the Xbox my favorite game was Oddworld: Munch's Odyseey. I also used to play Halo. So, I was a huge fan of Sam and Max. I loved this game! I am also an old-timer and I use to love the old text-based games, from Infocom and Douglas Adams. No graphics, just all text.

I liked Disney Infinity too but found it kind of hard to do all the missions because I would need characters I didn’t own, and those dumb discs came in blind bags so we ended up with a bunch of duplicates and not getting some of the ones we wanted. Things like that are frustrating. ETA: The same was true for the Lego Dimensions game. Was hard and/or expensive to get all of the necessary characters.

I can't really understand it, but I am addicted to Triple Match 3D. 5,930 levels of matching sets of three items. Oh, the time I have wasted on that stupid game. I really must stop, and at least play something a bit more brain-stimulating.

Animal Crossing but not regularly since they stopped doing updates. They just announced that, as of November (25th maybe), the mobile version of AC - Pocket Camp will no longer get updates. Nintendo needs to release a new AC game stat. >.< As for my games, we own all the Mario games, Animal Crossing, Fall Guys, but I've been playing Dreamlight Valley the most. The updates keep me coming back for more. On the PS5, we play Mortal Kombat.

I don’t let myself play it until I’ve completed at least one of the three daily goals on DuoLingo. I have a 492 day continuous streak on DuoLingo, and a 43 day friend streak with one of DD’s more motivated friends, LOL.

I only play on my phone and rarely on my ipad.
The only games I consistently play every day: --NYT Wordle --NYT Connection --Toon Blast --Duolingo (not really a "game" but sorta?)
Many days a week --NYT Strands
Once in a while---usually when I don't have internet or am anxious waiting --Color Therapy (sorta a game) --Word Wow --Helix Jump

I just got an email from Nintendo advertising MySims Cozy Bundle which has two games that look a lot like Animal Crossing game play. One is a town building type game and the other is a kingdom building game. I think anyone who liked ACNH would probably like this one too.

Is MySims geared for kids or teens/adults? I wonder if the sims will have to work and stuff like that?
I played the original Sims for a little. I killed a character once. She was cooking and something happened and her pan caught on fire. I was still a beginner and didn’t know how to put out the fire. When I finally figured it out it was too late. She turned into a pile of ashes. 😂 I didn’t play the game much after that.

If you haven't already seen, a company remastered Epic Mickey for updated gaming systems and it comes out September 24th. It's called Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. It's supposed to have better controls. It will be available for Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox (various) and Windows. epicmickey.thqnordic.com/I also just found out that there is also a remaster of Age of Mythology coming out September 4th. DH and I spent so much time playing all the Age of Empire games on Windows back in the day. We currently have a PS5 after our PS4 bit the dust. I kinda want a Switch because Mario games are more my style. If you haven't experienced the insanity of Overcooked, I highly recommend that as a cooperative game. Play with your spouse, or a kid and try not to kill each other (in real life). Played a lot of the LEGO games on the Wii back in the day. For my phone, my primary game is Disney Magic Kingdoms, but I stopped obsessing over it when they added the Seasons. I also have some Angry Bird spin off games I play when on the airplane. Oh, and Pokemon Go
