Just wondering if you’ve had any side effects from the TDAP vaccine?. Wondering how I might feel the next day since I have lunch/shopping planned with a friend.

The only side effect I had was a slightly sore upper arm the next day. One of the easier vaccines to deal with for sure, for me anyway.

Eons ago, I was on a car accident and had one and my arm swelled up and was real sore. We didn't do too much physical, but site see. Years later, I had one and that same day, I washed and waxed my car. My arm never swellded or had any pain. I would say to just give your arm some good exercice and I think you will be okay.

Tender arm, mild fever for 24 hours (100-101°), feeling a little tired. That's it.
The MMR vaccine does me in though. And I don't hold titer to it. 🤷🏻♀️

Personal experience-this one is the hurtiest! My upper arm is noticeably and distractably sore for a couple days. No systemic symptoms.

Sore arm. Keep moving the arm after you get the shot, apply warm heat the next morning and take sone Tylenol or Advil. You'll be ok

no body-wide issues but the tetanus always leaves my arm sore for a couple of weeks - as in moving it hurts - so I always make sure to get it in my right arm because while I'm right handed, I lift and carry with my left.

Sore arm, that was it. But I have had no major issues with any vaccine in the last 7-8 years.
ETA Just to clarify, I think you mean TDAP the other one is for infants and young children.

My arm was sore for a day or so but I don't remember it being as bad as most vaccines. I had it within the last 6 months.

If that's the one with tetanus in it, I get it in the arm I don't sleep on, and besides being a little sore have not had symptoms.

Very sore arm. Don't get it in your dominate hand.

Get it non dominant arm. Mine was just sore like most vaccines. Move it like a chicken wing off and on and drink lots of water the day before and day of.
