Wow that was an effort. Three tries until I got the poll question I wanted. I pondered it a bit and decided to change the question. Do you think a woman can be a good Commander-In-Chief in a country this big and as complex as the United States? And considered to be one of the three super powers of the world. I think they can. Below is a reel with Mike Johnson going on as to who do we want to see as Commander - In - Chief. Saying we just can’t have Harris but need it to be trump. So after I stopped laughing I decided to poll the Peas. Johnson is claiming this is the most dangerously of times therefore we MUST have the convicted felon back in The White House. What amazes me is how easily these idiots lie. I'm not wearing socks today. I have on Reef flip flops and I'm about to go to the Goodwill to check for upcyclable items, and then I'll go to the Farmers Market for my usual weekly sourdough loaf purchase from the bread lady.

Anything that catches my eye that I could make over into something creepy. Mainly shadow boxes, but also lamps, mirrors, hanging hooks, and pieces that can be used in that way. Vintage tsotchkes as well though those are harder and harder to find! Mostly it's resin crap from the 90s and beyond now. |

I prefer to always wear socks, unless I’m wearing sandals.
But, seeings how I hate hot or warm weather I make a point to spend ans little time as possible in sandal weather. I love cold weather. That means I am usually wearing socks. At this time, my socks are Adidas socks. They are rather old and worn, and it is beyond time to do a purge of the drawer. They certainly aren’t even in good enough shape to donate, so if I were putting together donate items, I would have to choose something else.
And, while I am choosing other things, the pill options don’t include a 3rd option—— IDGAF.
Personally, I’d be a hella lot more OK with the commander-in-chief being a military veteran.
Until you’ve worn those olive green wool socks for a lot of miles in your boots I believe it is impossible to understand the gift of the United States all volunteer, highly educated military, and use them as anything other than pawn.

Reporting back: I did not go to the Goodwill. I went to the pool, where my husband and I were the only people there at first and these 50+ year olds had a BALL! There were goggles and toys left there and we had fun shooting each other with a pair of super soakers, diving for a toy fish, playing catch, and goofing off. We had a few cans of beer. I demanded a swimsuit issue photo shoot coming out of the pool in my bikini, Bo Derek style. I haven't seen the pics but I'm sure they're more like No Derek 🤣🤣🤣
Then we came home and he started homework while I took the cat for a stroll in the cat stroller while my son walked the dog.
An epic day for sure. Late dinner is in the oven and I'm still not wearing socks 😁

Recently I had to ask some strangers at the beach for sunscreen for my niece. People are so nice when given the chance to be. I do miss the soft t-shirts we used to wear under our BDU’s. Those were so soft! I did get to snuggle in my ancient woobie car camping in Yosemite. Some things never go out of style. |

Why is this even a question? Did you watch the reel of Mike Johnson going on about how dangerous the times are so dangerous that our CIC should be a man as opposed to having a woman CIC. At the same time ignoring the fact trump used bone spurs as a reason not fight in Vietnam, has called some of our generals stupid and has little respect for members of our military, especially if wounded or killed in the line of duty something trump doesn’t understand. But sure elect him again. After watching that reel it became clear the right is going to use the fact that Harris is a woman as a reason not to vote for her. They are, IMO, are going to do it by trying to scare people into believing as a woman she is not capable/strong enough to make the decisions that need to be made to protect this country or seen by Foreign Leaders as a strong leader of a super power. The only option the right is going to push, is to keep us safe we must elect the white man over the black woman. And why ask the question at all? Because sadly too many in this country judge people for who they are (male, female and so on) instead of what they say, what they do and their experience when it comes to doing a specific job. So I was curious and asked the question. |
