I am ready!!! MSU Spartans play Florida Atlantic on Friday night. After a messed up season last year with the coach being let go mid-season, I'm hopeful that things are going to be better. We have Oregon State's former coach and he brought a few key players with him.
We're taking a Labor Day road trip, so we'll be listening in the car. Go Green! 💚 🏈

Hotty Toddy!!! Looking forward to a good season for Ole Miss. Starting off with a home game versus Furman. We'll also be looking forward to how the new coach at Miss. State does this year. Cautiously optimistic there. This week they host Eastern Kentucky.

We really don't have a team... our alma mater is D2. We'll probably root against the main campus of the school that DH didn't get hired at, his current school doesn't have a team. Maybe we'll root for the school where his boss' son plays (though he's a freshman, so I'm not sure how often he'll see playing time yet).

There are over 20 college games tonight! I'm so excited football season is here.
Saturday Tennessee plays Chattanooga. Our new QB is on the Heisman watch. It's a bit early for that but I'm excited to watch Nico lead the team.
Saturday night is Michigan (DH alum) vs Fresno State (my alum). It's going to be an interesting year for both schools. Michigan coming off a National Championship with a new coach and QB. Fresno State also has an interim coach right now as their coach recently stepped down for medical reasons.

Eagerly awaiting the Nebraska game against UTEP Saturday. But tonight I'm watching DS19's team play their season opener--he got to dress for it! Doubt he'll play but it still fun watching for him on the sideline.

My Hotty Toddy flag has been hung! My grandson almost chose to attend Ole Miss. They made a couple of visits there. My son and dil were so very excited about all the tailgating. Our family really loves sports. They live in Mass but would happily travel back and forth. My dgs decided to go to another college and my son and his wife were SO disappointed. |

We tried to get DD to go there as well (it's where DH and I met), but no dice. I do admit I was a bit disappointed. She started at Auburn and then graduated from Texas Tech. However, my youngest niece did graduate from there last May! So at least I got one to go there. |

The Huskers won 40-7. It has been a long time since we just put a game away and our subs got to play. Only one turnover. Only a couple of bad penalties. It was fun to watch.

Ole Miss easily won their game (76 - 0), but it was pretty boring after the first few touchdowns.

Florida lost to Miami, of course. Not really a surprise but I was hopeful they'd pull off a win. My husband played for NC State so that's my other team. They won their game on Thursday but he said it was sloppy. Just happy it's finally football season again.

Michigan was looking like Michigan in the 4th. Team is coming together well and our defense is looking great. Offense needs to hold onto the ball. Excited to see how we progress this season.

I am rooting for my dad's team tonight - USC. Looking forward to seeing what they can do. They had some great plays last year but then just kept falling up short, especially with dropped passes.
