During our marriage lifetime we've had a waterbed (fun when you are pregnant!), an antique cast iron bed, and now a metal framed bed that makes a lot of noise (creaking, etc.) I came across this platform bed from Thuma when looking at reviews. I am worried we would bang our legs into the corners. Does that happen to anyone with your platform bed? Example below

I have had several platform beds and even with my dreadful depth perception, I have not smacked into any of them. I like them for the reason you are seeking, they are quiet.

I have hit my shins on regular bed frame corners. I have seen the ads for that bed and I am curious how comfortable they are.

Our current bedframe is a platform with drawers underneath. We haven’t had any issues with banging shins on the frame but I have stubbed a toe more than once walking around in the dark because the drawers go straight all the way to the floor.
DD had a four poster waterbed frame with the wooden sides and a standard mattress in it for ten years. I think sometimes she would bang her legs on the frame but the way that kid would flop on her bed, it would be her own fault. Her current bedframe is also a platform but she wanted a box spring to make it taller.
