Cheryl is home!!! Her dad posted yesterday afternoon she was returned home. On Saturday he posted she had been kidnapped and they were not letting her go but over the next 24 hours they were able to get it and bring her home. He hasn't posted much more than that but promised to share details later. I am so relieved she is alive and home. ~~~~ Since we have quite a few CA peas I wanted to share this. Cheryl and my youngest son were in special ed classes from Kindergarten to high school. She has a very limited mental capacity and trusts everyone. She met someone online and left with him Friday. She called her parents Friday night asking for help but that's the last time they have heard from her.
Missing 24 yr old with diminished mental capacity.
I'm so upset over this. I can't even imagine what she is feeling, what her parents are going through. This could have easily been my kiddo as well. No matter how often we remind our kids that online people can be dangerous it's hard for some of them to fully understand this. |

That is so scary. I feel so bad for her family. It doesn't sound good, but I hope she is located soon and is unharmed.
