They probably have it on an automated system. That, but I would need to know how it was worded. If it just says this is to confirm you appointment for x time and date. That was just information, but if they indicated you needed to call to confirm or cancel, I would not think twice about it and call the next day.

We often get robo appt reminders after hours or on weekend depending on when our appointments are. If there's an issue, I call back and leave a message.
