I have to admit the first thing to come to mind was the epic 2Peas thread about the husband inviting everyone for a holiday and wife let him deal with it. OP, I hope your day turns out better than that one! Haha! I remember that! Also her post updates as some things crashed and burned were awesome! ;-) |

Glad the day was great!
Things like this can be eye opening on both sides. I’m like you, I jump in and take over and make sure it goes off without a hitch. Feeling like a martyr the whole time!
One good thing I’ve learned by letting DH follow through on his own plans that I thought were crazy is that it doesn’t always have to be my way to be a success. LOL
Also, DH realizes what it takes to out on something like this and I think he appreciates me more once he has to do it himself . LOL
