Have been using the sequins without holes for sometime for card making I much prefer the look. First time using on a scrapbook layout today and I’m really liking the result good to have the option instead of enamel dots since they have much less dimension

They are my favourite as well - I do not know why I am so violently opposed to those small central holes 😂

Thanks for posting this camcas. I haven't gotten brave enough to use sequins yet but I love the look of them on everyone's l/o-s. For one, I don't know what they're made of - are they OK to use with photos? Secondly, I have memories of using sequins to decorate items years ago and what a mess! They were so static-y and just went everywhere. Are the sb-ing sequins different? And where do you all get the ones w/o holes? Thanks.

I ask, as if I am actively scrapbooking And here I am as well, reading and commenting as if I have finished even a single page in years! I struggle with getting them stuck to the page instead of my fingers or the desk or... When I used sequins (though I'm a basic B, so used the ones with holes in the center), I just used a generous drop of liquid glue to adhere them.

I'm a big fan of sequins without holes in them. The moonshine sequins are my favourite, such a pretty sparkle. I love red and green and other Christmas colored sequins on Christmas pages, too.

Holes or no holes, when I use sequins, I randomly drip some clear glue on my page. Then I scatter the sequins over the page. When I pick up the page, I curve it a bit and aim the loose sequins onto a folded sheet of paper. The glue catches them in the random places like I planned and the loose ones go onto the folded paper from which they can be guided back into the baggie or bottle they came from.

I like sequins too. I use glue dots to stick them down. Not the cheapest solution but wet glue drives me crazy.

First time using on a scrapbook layout today and I’m really liking the result good to have the option instead of enamel dots since they have much less dimension Pics or it didn’t happen! I usually only use sequins for shaker filling. I’ve never used them as an embellishment like a button or enamel dot. Now you got me thinking…

They are marketed to card makers mostly I am sure they are just plastic so should be fine for photos

I am a huge fan of confetti (sequins w/o holes). I like to buy them from Cartwrights - much cheaper than the paper crafting sites.

I've been buying the Love From Lizi Peel Offs for a few years. These are strips or shapes in a variety of colors and textures. I have dots, stars like this ⭐️ , and this ✨, butterflies. They work great as a flat option to enamel dots and sequins. I don't typically use them in scrapbooking. They are my go to in cardmaking. lovefromlizi.com/collections/peel-off-stickers
