My MIL would have loved that house exactly as it sits, in all its hideous glory. 😳 In fact, she had one of those dining tables with the drop leaves and chairs exactly like the one in the #7 photo. She would have loved the ugly floral couch. Our renter’s parents had one almost exactly like it only blue, with a pair of matching chairs. That couch was huge, probably like 8 or 9’ long, and it was so big that when she eventually got rid of it we had to cut it into thirds with a sawzall in order for the trash company to take it away. My sister and her DH had a pair of those exact upholstered chairs like the one in the bedroom in photo #11 but theirs were rust and gold.
All that those colored tile bathrooms were missing was the floral pastel printed toilet paper, LOL.

I wasn't sure what that strange platform was in front of the fireplace.
I like it all except for the mint green bathroom. So much space! And light. I've always wanted a basement.
I was happily working out the floor plans thinking they were the last photos, and then... oh a door handle, as the piéce de resistance. Haha!

Apparently I have issue with the color green. Aside from the green carpet and the green bathroom I kind of like it.

I hope someone who loves MCM buys this house. Once they add their touches this house would be amazing.

I live in Omaha and that is a prime area. Someone is gonna turn that into a gray and white monstrosity. I bet they paint the brick white and add black shutters and downspouts.

Growing up, our house had the avocado shag carpet, and while we didn't have the orange velvet chairs, we did have pillows on the couch that were orange velvet.
I like it. I know it is mid-century modern in age, it isn't really MCM in style. A touch here and there, but not the whole thing. I'd like it better if the whole thing was MCM style.
I do really like the fireplace wall and the tiled bathrooms.
That has a lot of square footage for only having 3 bedrooms. I can't get used to the prices nowadays, either. Insane how home prices have gone up.

I grew up a few miles from this house. They all looked like that in my neighborhood. Love Omaha for the lush green everything.

Ooohh, I actually low key love it. I'd redo the kitchen, but I'm in love with the bathrooms.

OMG I kinda love it just the way it is.. everything. Maybe cause it looks sooo clean. Not usually my type or style, but it's speaking to me!

Hopefully those gorgeous oak floors are also hiding under that hideous green carpet I'm in love with the hideous green carpet.. I DON'T know why... (as long as they are clean as they appear to be) And 99.999% of the time I am like NO to the 60s green.

I'd call that more of a 70's house! It was built in 1964.

I kinda love it. It is in such good condition and I think there would be amazing hardwood under that green carpet. With a tasteful renovation of the bathrooms and kitchen I think this would be amazing.

Well Whatever. The colors are definitely early 70's! This house is totally 60s but most of us who were born/grew up in the 70s had to live with the after effects. Lol More rust, gold, and avocado are 70s. The plane light and the few accents are early 60s. The bathroom tiles and wallpaper in the baths are similar to the 50s but the styles and colors date them to the 60s. I watch a LOT of old movies so I'm pretty good at spotting decor/homes by decades.

Yep. I was born in '61 and graduated from high school in '79. I am a true 60's/70's child!
