I am down another pound. I weighed myself last on 9/6 which was the end of my experiment. I was down 11.4. I did not weigh in two weeks because of all the camp food the week following. But finally yesterday I weighed in after almost a week back on my plant based eating. So I'm down a total of 12.6. That's over 15 weeks now. I'm pretty happy with that. And I was off sugar all week but I did go out for a vegan meal last night because they had a peaches and cream cheesecake on their special last night. The nice thing about this restaurant is that the portions are reasonable. They don't have the humongous portions that many restaurants do so I had a nice, modest sized piece of cheesecake. I'm back to my no sugar today. I need to do my meal planning for the week and get out to the market. I'm having a lot of fun with a new cookbook. And I'll also add that as of Thursday, I was 5 months smoke free. I'm pretty proud of myself. Congratulations on another lb down and being smoke-free! You should be proud!

I'm going to redouble my efforts starting next week! It's been a tough start to the school year but I think we're finally hitting a routine in our room or at least my stamina is coming back. I'm less exhausted than I was the first couple of weeks and have found a couple of lunch ideas that are filling, healthy and quick. (kale salad with lots of roasted veggies or a chicken burger from Costco on a Dave's Killer Bun) I've also just started HRT and am hopeful that I see improvements with that on board! Most days I am getting my workout in but there is room to push myself by grabbing a heavier weight or adding in a little running.

I’m managing to keep off the few pounds I lost for the most part. My feet are swollen and I’m in an inflammation flare again so I know I’d be a few pounds less without the bloat weight. I spent 2 weeks trying to eat at least one green thing a day. It made me remember why I don’t eat salad regularly. It backs up my digestive track. Finally getting my systems back to normal. Temps and humidity are finally going to drop this week so I might try to start short walks again in the evening.

I wish I could post in smaller letters but yes I did see the scale move down a pound today. I did well. Now I have to go for brunch.

Update to my post. It’s very good. I had a massive Caesar salad with grilled chicken that I only ate some (half?) maybe. I am having it for dinner with something else crunchy. I ate accordingly today and I am happy. I also passed on croutons. I don’t like pop of any kind so I drink water or Mio only. I am so happy with my choices.
I ordered a bathing suit from Amazon and it will be here soon like an hour. I need to go back to the pool.
