I am searching for a new planner.
What I use now is a Passion Planner. It ticks off most of my "wants", but missing some items and has some features I don't want/use. -It has a monthly section with all the months together, which is what I like. -The weekly is vertical, but it is broken down into hours. I want the weekly section to be vertical, but I would like 3-4 blocks instead of hours. -It is bound, not spiral. I do prefer bound books. -It has a lot of space devoted to goals and goal-settings, which I do not want or use.
I've been looking at the Plum Planner. If you have one, can you tell me if the monthly pages are all grouped together or do they separate the weekly pages? I can't tell from the photos on the website. I want my monthly pages to be all together. What I like best about the Plum Planner is how you can customize the weekly pages. I like the 3 separate blocks for each day on the weekly pages, and you can customize the headings.
I looked at an Erin Condren planner at B&N and the monthly pages were used to separate the weekly pages. So that planner is off my list. I don't like the binding system of the Happy Planners. I prefer a bound planner, but I will settle for a coiled planner.
Anyone know of any planners that can fit my specifications? Does the Passion Planner sound like the best fit and I should just keep using it?

I've used a Plum planner a couple of times. The weekly/daily pages were in between the monthly pages. Personally I didn't like the feel of the paper Plum planner uses. I'm an Erin Condren user.

I just pre-ordered my 2025 Wonderland222 size A5 Planner with daily pages included. I think it ticks a lot of your boxes - bound, 4 vertical sections in the weeks section and it also has quarterly goal pages and monthly tracker pages. I found complete planner peace with this 4 years ago and don't planner shop anymore. They're out of Tacoma, Washington, and the two owners/founders seem like such cool people. Their customer service is great, too!

At soon as I saw Tomoe River paper my eyes opened wide. 😂 I’ve used Hobonichi before and this is very similar without all the daily dated pages, that I never used! I like these are undated. This will be my homework later tonight. How hard is it to get your choice? I saw it says “Good luck”. Do they sell out fast? Thanks so much!!

I make my own planner for lesson plans using one I got from TPT from Nurtured Potential. If you are good with formatting sheets for changing colors and fonts you can fully customize it. You put in your own start/end dates and holidays so you can totally make it a calendar year planner. I print it on 65wt card stock and use my binditall to bind it. You could probably print and bind at Office Depot or staples or similar. Days go across the top, hours/sections/whatever down the side. It prints full calendar months over a 2 page spread. When it’s exported to PDF, I add I pages I want to have like a front and back cover and password pages. It’s fun and fully customizable with sheets knowledge.

Check out Sterling Ink Common Planner. It has Tomoe River Paper. This year there is a Daily Planner that is new. I believe there is also undated. She recently put out a lengthy YT video on the layout of each one.

She recently put out a lengthy YT video on the layout of each one. LOL! Ok, marked on my calendar - Sept 15th, 10AM EST, A5 Vertical Slim. Although that Mulberry color for the full size is very pretty! I'll still look around until then, but thank you!!

The Tomeo River paper is amazing. And I agree, I used to love Hobonichis, especially the Cousin, but this fixed everything about those that I didn't like. I'm not sure how difficult it will be - once pre-orders ship, which I believe is this month, they should add more to the shop - what I would do is place the order of your choice and if you hit a wall, reach out to Liisa Roberts or Andy Panske (there is an amazing facebook group!!) and just ask. They're so approachable!

I'm the opposite. I liked the Plum Planner over the Erin Condren. I had a Plum Planner for a couple of years. I have, however, come to the realization that between my work Outlook calendar for work and the calendar on my phone, a paper planner doesn't work for me. I'd start out great but drop off. Wish it would work but it doesn't.

I use the Gallery Leather academic planner. Every year I think "oh you're in a rut, why don't you look for something else?" and every year I don't. haha The Gallery Leather academic has all the months together (one month per page) at the beginning, then the weeks follow. It has one week on the left side page, then the right side page is blank lined. The week on the left probably wouldn't work for you because each day is just one block, not divided. It's fine for me though because I rarely have enough time-sensitive events on each day. I love the blank right side page because I write everything there...lists, to-do, quotes from what I'm reading, etc. Since it's an academic planner it starts with the academic year, so when I switch over I usually have overlap weeks at the beginning where I don't use the blank page. So I use those to keep Christmas lists, or passwords, etc. -- Oh, also it's a Monday-start planner which I prefer.

This one can be customized. You may be able to create the layouts/page order you want. AgendioThey are good quality.

A friend had a great planner today and she said that she got it online. The person who does them is a teacher (might be academic only?) but she's only open for a short part of the year. Fully customizable. I know the link says teacher planners but there are non teacher ones too. 4theloveofpi.com/non-teacher-planners/
