I’ve wanted a Jeep Wrangler forever, but hadn’t even mentioned looking yet. Been saving for a while so I would have a good down payment when I decided to buy. Saw a wreck rebuild on fb Friday afternoon that ticked all my boxes that I would have got on a new one. So less than 24 hours later, I bought me a Jeep! Only 26k miles, still has new car smell, and lots of upgrades I probably wouldn’t have gotten if I was ordering new (just because of price). I need a name for my new girl. She will be painted or wrapped soon. And will definitely be some shade of pink. Any ideas what to call her?   |

Congratulations! How exciting! I immediately had a name, but then when I read that she will be painted, my name won’t work. What kind of names are you drawn to? Something sporty? Rugged? Feminine?

What is a wreck rebuild? It doesn’t have a salvage title does it? It was wrecked with minimal damage. I saw the pics before it was repaired. It does have a salvaged title but I’m ok with that. Only frame damage was very front where bumper attaches. |

When I thought it would remain white, I went with Snowball or Buttons. Explanation for why Buttons is a white item name: My son brought home a tiny white kitten one evening. He told me our neighbor a few doors down had got her from a box of kittens in front of a store but changed her mind and didn’t want her once she really zed the kitten couldn’t hear anything. Se just put her in the front yard to fend for herself. My son found her in the middle of the yard meowing and shaking. He knocked on the neighbor’s door trying to return her. She was only 7 weeks old and pure white, which meant she was deaf. How long do you think a deaf white kitten would survive outside? My son was outraged when she said it hadn’t escaped, she just didn’t want it and brought her to me saying we can’t let her die. She was defenseless. I melted and told him he could keep her. He went through all the white-type names and then suddenly decided her name would be Buttons. And the secret would be that only he and I knew that it meant WHITE buttons. He was 6. We began referring to white things as buttons from then on. I googled pink car names: Rosaline – Inspired by the beautiful rose flower. Fuchsia Flyer – After the vibrant fuchsia color. Pink Panther – For a car as sleek as the famous character. Blossom – Like the sweet spring blooms. Flamingo – Named after the graceful pink bird. Magenta Magic – A touch of mystical charm. Coral Cruiser – For a soft, coral-hued car. Bubblegum – As sweet and fun as the candy. Sunset – Evoking beautiful pink skies. Peony – After the lush pink flower. Cherry Blossom – For a car as pretty as the flower. Cotton Candy – For a car, that’s a treat to see. Blush – A subtle and soft pink. Pomegranate – Rich and deep pink. Raspberry Ride – Vibrant and energetic. Rose Quartz – For a car with a gentle touch. Strawberry – Sweet and delightful. Valentine – For a car you love deeply. Watermelon – Fresh and fun. I love that she’s going to be pink! My kid and I love to play the rainbow game when we’re out driving around (look to find cars in every color of the rainbow), so we get pretty jazzed when we see vehicles that are pink, purple, lime or teal. Lately we’ve been seeing a LOT of orange cars on the road. I keep telling my DH that my next car is going to be purple because it’s the hardest color to find, but pink would be really fun too.
My vote would be something like Rosie or Candy.

Congratulations! My first thought was Pinky Tuscadero as well! Or maybe Pink Lady? I have been eyeing a pink/magenta Jeep Wrangler in the Jeep lot in my town. But I have a paid off 2019 Chevy Trax which is boring as hell, but she's paid off, has low mileage and great gas mileage. So I'll probably hold onto her for at least a couple more years.

Yes, insurance company usually just inspects the repair work. So you don’t try to claim a dent or whatever that was there before just happened and try to file a claim for it. |

Only frame damage was very front where bumper attaches. we're on our 3rd salvaged vehicle and love them. they can be a great way to save money and get an awesome vehicle! we also check out the before picks, stay away from significant frame damage, flood or electrical damage. they've been the best vehicles we've owned. congrats to you! |
