I have a 2013 Ford Edge I loved. My grandson is driving it now. My DD has a 2011 Edge she loves. My sister and next door neighbor bought new Edges recently and are very happy with them.

Another happy Subaru Forester owner here. Bought a new 2024 model in January. It’s perfect for me, easy to drive, great front windshield visibility, good on gas, has all the expected bells and whistles (though too many for me, but all new vehicles have them!).
It does sound like the Ascent might be a better fit for you as it is bigger than the Forester. Oh and I looooove the Autumn Green color of my Subaru!

Any Bronco lovers out there? I love how it looks--like a real SUV, not a sporty minivan. But I wonder what people who have been driving them for the past few years think about them.

We had a ‘76 Bronco many years ago and I looooooooved that thing!! It was big and tough and fun to drive. So we were super excited when we heard Ford was bringing them back. But unfortunately they are kinda small, and I am not hearing great reviews on them. If I was in my 20’s I would probably be in love with one, but not so much at 53. 😂 They do LOOK beautiful though.

My manager has had one for over a year and she really likes hers (or at least did, I haven’t asked her lately if that has changed). There are a bunch around but that is the only person that I know that owns one. I will also be curious what people say about them. They look little to me

I have a 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited in Robin's Egg Blue that I adore. We've always been a Ford family, and after driving a "mom" car for many years, I'll admit I picked it out simply because it's cute. I get tons of comments from strangers who love the color. No issues at all, but it's just a year old with 12k miles. Attachments:

Volvo fan. I have an XC90 mild hybrid. Very spacious, was actually able to put a regular size bathtub in the box without an issue. Can fit the Greyhound and Whippet in the back with room to spare without folding down the second row seats. Has third row seats but never open them so cannot say if they are practical.
They have smaller model SUVs, but I like the larger version.

Toyota Highlander. I’m in my 2nd one in 5 years because of the accident we were in. It saved our lives. Lots of room and drives great in winter

We like our Toyota vehicles. 2011 Corolla, got new and still going at almost 200.000 miles. 2011 Rav 4 and 2015 truck. DH has the truck, can't think of what kind. Our vehicles never given us major trouble and we take them for servicing when needed. For us Toyota is the way to go!

FIL had a BroncoII. When he died, DH brought it home for me. I hated that vehicle! It had the roughest ride ever. I felt like my brains were going to be jiggled out every time I drove it. DH drove it a few days and agreed with me. The plan had been for me to drive it until DS got his license. We sold it before DS had a turn with it.
Later DH said the wheel base was too short and that is why it was such a rough ride.
