Hi we had to take Dexter to be groomed so we got Caesar salads at Wendy’s because they are good. How does a grilled Caesar salad have 13 carbs? That is crazy. There must have been a ton of sugar on the bacon or chicken. It tasted great. I not done this for about 2 years so it’s not like an every week thing. I was just mad at myself. I know better to check the nutrition! What they show for carbs includes the dressing and croutons. If you didn't add croutons, you're proably down to just a couple of carbs. You get to back out the firber of 4, so that would be 9 carbs and if you didn't eat the croutons, it was almost zilch for carbs. Don't beat yourself up as that is not many carbs at all.

Have a lovely trip scrapmaven ! **GypsyGirl** I’m so glad your husband has made so much progress. He’ll be home before you know it. karenlou Your trip sounds amazing. Did you take your own bikes? How many people were in your group? That itinerary sounds right up my alley. Tomorrow I start watching my granddaughter as my DD is heading back to work. She came by today to make sure I was ready and give me some “guidance”. 🤣 She actually told me that the baby will only nap if I hold her. I said of course which translates in my language to “Not gonna happen.” We will be fine and DD will relax once she’s in a routine. Dinner is leftover parm noodles with grilled veggies. It was good last night so I’m hoping it will be just as flavorful today.

I love sugar but not as much as salt.

There are 4 carbs with the salad and no croutons and maybe 1 incudes in the 4 for dressing. The dressing they use here is excellent. The salad was great and safe now. I can eat there safely.

Have a wonderful trip scrapmaven and lucyg! We arrived home yesterday (Tuesday) about midday. My last post here was just before heading off on a trip to Pig Island, and was a very rushed post because our friends came by to get us 20 minutes early. Our trip to Pig Island was just as shit as I expected it to be. Actually, it was even more shit than I expected it to be, because the pigs didn't even get into the ocean. The snorkelling was okay, but not much to see. At least this time none of us got stabbed by a sea urchin (which happened to one of our friends last year). And the pièce de résistance? I came down with what I think is most likely dengue fever. We got back to the resort at 2pm, and while everyone else headed off to happy hour at the pool bar, I went to bed. I managed to drag myself out for dinner that night, then stayed in bed again on our last morning there, while the others were having one last swim. DSO got the same thing last year, just as we were leaving Koh Samui for Singapore. My friend who is a GP is popping over this afternoon when she has finished work and will check me out. I'm on the mend now, so I don't think I'll bother going to get a blood test to confirm.

And the pièce de résistance? I came down with what I think is most likely dengue fever. Tell me that sounds worse than it actually is! That is a real bummer! I hope you feel better soon! I had much the same symptoms that DSO had last year: rash all over my body, headache, aching body and joints, fatigue, fever and chills, tummy upset. Apart from the fatigue (and very itchy rash), the rest thankfully was relieved with medication (Panadol). I tell you what, it's given me a better appreciation / empathy for people who live with the constant pain of conditions like fibromyalgia. I hope that doesn't sound flippant, or whatever. I'm lucky that my pain was able to be managed with medication. I just can't imagine having to live with that kind of pain all the time. DSO did suggest that we head off to one of the many many MANY cannibas cafes on the island, to try and get some relief that way. I tell you what, I was tempted!

ntsf when my son was an infant (preemie) he responded well to music. When he needed an echo before a surgery they talked about sedating him but I asked them to give me a try rocking him, singing, laid him on the table and continued singing as he slept through the echo, looked in the corner and DH was asleep as well. The tech said "you almost got me too". scrapmaven have a good trip lucyg I wish you the sighting of many whales. I would love to drive out there but I'm still coughing too much.

They are in Rochester NY They have many, many international and national tours. This was my third Bike and Barge tour with them...HIGHLY recommend😎
