During the school year, Monday-Friday, I would have hair and makeup done. I might need 5 minutes to change clothes.
All bets are off on the weekend. Depends upon what I have been doing.

My kids are grown and I’m retired. Yes, I’m usually five minutes out from being company ready. When I was still raising kids, going back to school, working? Back then I needed 8 hours to get company ready! And you know what… I’d give up all the company readiness for one day back with my son and daughter as kiddos. 💕 Same, same. Just one more day…

On weekdays I'm company ready since I'm wearing work clothes (or workout clothes in the evening) and hair/makeup is done. On weekends if I don't have any plans I can look like a hot mess. I will have a bra on and be dressed, but my hair will be very messy if I haven't done anything with it. It's naturally curly and requires taming to be presentable. I don't care if I have makeup on or not, no one that visits would care.

I'd need 10-15 minutes for anyone other than close family. They get what they get if they stop by and they don't care anyway. I do not wear a bra at home and no make up on unless I was out earlier. You will also find me in leggings and a t-shirt, often ones that have seen better days.

After breakfast I get dressed and that includes foundation, blush and lipstick. Hair brushed also. If I don't do that, you will see that I am so pale one would be searching for a pulse.

Yes…I’m at work by 7:00 am and have to be camera ready. So, I’m showered, dressed and hair done by then. I only put on make on days I have external client calls.
On weekends I am ready by 8:00.

Wow I feel like I’m one of the few peas who is always in makeup (when up and awake) - tinted moisturizer/foundation, bronzer, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, lip gloss. Always lol. Even when working out.Takes me only about 7 minutes to do. Plus sunscreen of course. I just feel better in make up. Though I’ll admit I’m 50 and I only started doing this in the last 10 years…

I'd need 10 min, probably -- to change my clothes (usually Im in ratty clothes if I am just at home), run a brush through my hair and put a bra on.

I am usually naked or in a house dress over naked if I’m home. So I’d need a minute to get presentable!
However anyone stopping by unannounced would be taking their life in their hands. Just the thought of it makes me anxious.

I'm only company ready if I know company is coming. (Okay, or if someone happened to show up here either right as I was about to go out or just as I came home, then I'd be presentable, but otherwise, never.) Otherwise, I tend to live in my most comfortable clothing at home, but also, my most worn, because I am just not a graceful, neat person. If I'm crafting, I'll wind up covered in glue or ink. If I'm cooking, I'm likely to have dropped something on myself. Cleaning? Probably spilled something at some point and now smell like floor cleaner. And if I'm doing something outside? Forget it! Dirt, grass stains, you name it. So day to say I will wear clothing that is already sporting stains or holes, and if you show up unannounced, that's how you'll find me. I wait until the last minute to put on "good" clothes before I head out of the house, and I change immediately out of those things when I return. I'm like a little kid who never out-grew play clothes. This is so me. I have what I refer to as my cleaning tuxedo. One for hot weather and one for cold. They are the most comfortable clothes I own but are covered in paint and bleach spots. I wear them to clean and do yard work because I’m a damn mess. Cooking? Not in decent clothes. I’ve tried aprons and it’s just not enough coverage, so stain covered clothes work for me. I work out at home, pretty much have a a gym in my basement. If you show up 5-6 days a week when I’ve been working out it won’t be pretty. I’m a sweaty menopausal women, part of the reason I love having all my equipment at home!

What kind of company?
Like, my clothes are on. I (probably) don't smell bad.
