I think the mural outside is fun, but the indoor theming makes me cringe. Thanks for sharing!

I find the whole thing oppressive and depressing.

I'm not into Disney (despite my avatar) and not a fan of this BUT I like the mural outside with the 80s characters! The bathroom is just so plain by comparison. Overall it's so cluttered, could do with some closet doors and I hate a washer and dryer in the kitchen like that.
I like Maleficent but it's too much in there. Someone obviously is very talented with the spray paint but it's so not my style.

Okay, I do kind of love some parts of that Maleficent room, just because I really like that original animated Maleficent. Um, seriously, though, as a buyer, I was at first relieved that at least the baseboards weren't painted, but then we went into the kitchen and I wondered how permanent those cabinet decals might be. The bathroom is relatively plain, though. Mostly I thought about how much painting ceilings sucks, and that would be the worst part of changing it over to my own style.

The bathroom is odd, surely it was the perfect place to go nuts with Winnie the Pooh!

Don't you feel sorry for the realtors that have to try and sell places like this? I like the mural outside with the 80s characters! I agree...I like the little outside area and if that were the only painting - it would be rather nice.

I love Disney memorabilia, but that Aladdin living room was just silly!

Don't you feel sorry for the realtors that have to try and sell places like this? I was thinking what a hoot it would be to have accompanied the realtor on the valuing inspection! I wonder if they had any clue what they were stepping into over that threshold.

Oh my!! While I think if the house wasn't so full of stuff and only the wall paintings with minimal plain decor would be much better.. but yeah all in all NOPE...

The bathroom was the most calming room to me. . The Maleficent was the most interesting to me. I actually spent some time looking at that photo. It has too much, but I could see making that room my "clutter" room with my collectibles. The rest of the house needs a paint over and a declutter. ETA - Question for British Peas - Is the double doors the main entrance to the house? I also saw a garage in one photo. Is the driveway for the garage behind the house?

Wow, that is truly a commitment to a theme. I'm feeling itchy, too, lainey. I would get a quote for painting the entire interior and deduct that from any offer I made.

I used to live in a house very similar to the design of this. The double doors are the main entrance and will be an addition, sometime after the house was built. The front door is set into an arched porchway and many people add the double glazed, double doors as a bit of heat proofing and security. I can't work out how the garage is accessed unless it's from the back of the property as there seems to be a wooden fence blocking the access to the rear yard. The house is on the corner of two roads and I can only think the access is on the other road, not the one the house fronts onto.

Thanks gillyp for the explanation! I was looking at the photo again, and it seems like one house, on the right side of the photo, has actually built out an entrance way instead of the double doors. Yeah, I looked closely and can't figure out how they access their garage with a car.

Don't come to my house. I don't have murals, but the Disney stuff, well, lets just say that is a medium sized collection.

Sometimes I can look past all the clutter because that will all be gone. But the paint? The decals? Unless you absolutely love them, that is a lot of painting you'd have to do to cover it all up. I agree with getting a quote and having it deducted from the price.
