Here in Canada we use the Mastercard credit card from Costco. Most of our fuel and groceries are purchased at Costco. We put many of our bills such as car insurance, phone, television etc on the card. Due to having car repairs etc last year our year total was higher. Mastercard/Costco gave us over 1000 dollars back in February. We took the cheque to Costco, bought a twenty dollar item and took the rest in cash to the bank. We carry very little cash and pay our bills each month.

I have the app. It will give me savings in the form of cash back on some sites. I have lifetime savings of $195 and $25 in available shopping rewards.

What I'm talking about is a Capital One credit card, not Costco. With the Costco check, you don't even have to buy anything and they will cash it for you. At least in the US.

I downloaded this the other day but haven't decided if it is worth it or not. It seems like Rakuten, which I liked.

I've earned $1274 from Rakuten. They send the money right to my PayPal account. I prefer to sign into their app & go to the store from there, rather than having an onboard that follows all my Internet activity. www.rakuten.com/r/LYNNIN37?eeid=28187

I use the Capital One extension. Sometimes it finds good coupon codes I didn't know about.

I guess my problem is that I don't do a lot of online shopping as I prefer brick and mortar. But that is getting increasingly hard.

I've used the Capital One extension. It can save you a lot of $$ as cash back on your account.
Example -> you search for a toaster at Macy's. The next day in your email you will (most likely) have a coupon for an extra 10% (or whatever) cashback if you click the link from the email before actually making the purchase.
The only downside is the constant email barrage of anything you search for with discounts is annoying. Oh and remember it's not a discount. It's cash back. So you pay the price of the item, the cash back comes later.
It will also let you know if there is a better price at another store.
I turn it on and off, only using it for big ticket purchases.

I went to Amazon and the little Capital One cashback thing showed me I could save $10 by purchasing on another site. That site also offered free shipping plus I got 13% cashback rewards. So a much better deal than I would have known about on my own.

I love it and use it all the time. I get coupons and deals I wouldn't have known about, cash back, and it'll show you cheaper prices elsewhere while browsing Amazon.
