Day in a life these days. My brain is tired.
AC broke on Labor Day. - after three calls of adjusting times (not their fault) AC people should be here this afternoon.
Dropped off kid to ortho for Tuesday appointment. Of course this is on my work from home day, so gotta be fast. Get text from kid. It's NEXT Tuesday.
Have unexpected job interview on Tuesday.. go during lunch, gotta be fast, but not show I need to be fast to get back home to log into work. Interview is 2 hours long. Not fast. Stress drive home.
Kid starts new job on Tuesday (same Tuesday). Leave work 1/2 hour early, pick up kid at school. Take kid to 1st day of work.. stress we are going to be late because of traffic
Going to pick up random thing bought off Marketplace after dropping kid off. Can't connect with seller (not her fault or mine) Have an hour or so to kill to get kid from work. Don't drive home cause it's too far. Wander around thrift store.
Work on Wednesday/Thursday.. SUPER busy, one person quit, one on FMLA, one got fired (all in one day) so leaves me, DD and another worker buried. No time to fart. Or Pea much. But I am pea'ing now. Screw it.
Thursday rush home from work to get kid from school to get to work on time. She leaves uniform at home. NOOOO I am sneaky and go a different way to avoid small town road construction only to find out BOTH major roads are now both under construction at the SAME time. WHO's brilliant planning is this. Speed racer to her work. Thankfully has a ride home with friend.
Oh got job offer.. NOW what do I do? I really don't want to leave but this promising. I have till Monday to decide. Weighing the pros/cons. OMG I don't know. Current job knows and is making counteroffer to keep me.
Friday, sitting here, pea'ing while I should be working on my files. While thinking about job, kid, school, OH and need to rebook mom's flight for her so she can stay longer with my sister. Shoot.. gotta run.
Thanks for listening.

Congrats on the new job offer!! Whatever you decide, hope it all works out!
This was a hectic week for me too. I was running all over the place. Maybe the holiday on Monday threw everything off. But, this weekend should be nice and calm, and hot.

What a week! I remember how busy that back-to-school time was. A new routine, so many extra meetings and events, and you need to be two places at once. Good luck with the job decision!

Boy that's a lot going on! I had a similar week last week- all the way through Sunday. Our DD is getting married in just over a month and last week a lot of things hit all at once and it was cr-ay-zy! I'm thankful that this week is slow and more normal.
That's awesome that you got a job offer! Let us know what you decide!

WELLL my current job countered back with a pretty decent raise (after I just got one in July) this one is even bigger. So the perks of my current job plus the raise and plus working with my daughter is a huge plus. I'm not going anywhere soon. It sure feels good to finally be wanted again after being rejected over and over again. and over. LOL
