Are you ready for another week of daily sketch challenges?
Sunday is my day to host, and I am having fun with sketches from the Hip Kit Club. This one has two photos, or as you can see in my take on it, there could be one photo and a cut apart or PL card. I chose to use a speech bubble die cut I have had for awhile.
I loved the mixed media look of the rays and started there--for my left page below--with a stencil and some SB.com Pops of Colour. The rest are all bits and bobs from my "boy" bin. I have been hoarding that roadway paper. and still have a couple of pieces, but sadly there is not much left. I added a second page using the same supplies to link the two pages together.
Speaking of leftovers, I had a few pic's left but not enough for another two page spread. So I put together two 6" wide panels to go back to back in a cut down page protector between the above two pages.
I hope you have fun with this sketch, whether you put together one, two, or the equivalent of three pages like I did. Please post your take on the challenge in this thread so we can all see it and be inspired.

grammadee , you are a scrapper after my own heart. I too like to turn one pagers into double page layouts! Here is my take on your fun idea!
So no mixed media, but I did remember I had this really cool mesh from about 20 years ago. It appears in my last album about a trip to Florida back in 2008. Using the cut-aparts and paper that I will not use whole from the paper pad.

Thanks for playing, @angel07701. I would KILL for some magic mesh, seeing all the backgrounds in the Hip Kit sketches I am using. I DO have a grid or screen kinda stamp, though. Just need to find it, I guess. Off to Flickr to look more closely at your LO.

SKETCHtember Challenge #8 by BreetheFlea, on Flickr What a fun sketch grammadee. I take a last day of school photo every year, and decided to skip the school icons and use summer stuff this time. I haven't printed the first day photos from this year those will be in my next batch of prints, but I'm hoping this also counts for the DONNA challenge

Great sketch grammadee. I will use this again. Linda, I love what you did with the sketch and 4x6 photo. I want to scraplift it with a 4x6. Your colors match your photos and the three little hearts are all the embellishment needed. I really love your design! grammadee, beachy, breetheflea, and @angel99701 I caught your layouts in the gallery where I could make them large. Great job, everyone. Here's mine. That's the first time in ages I have used stamps and stencils. Maxie

Thanks for the cool sketch grammadee ! I decided to use the same papers as my LO for my Sketchtember 17 page. Even though the photos were taken a week apart, I will probably put them side by side in my album.

Awesome take, AussieMeg. I love how you changed the one pic to a circle. There is love on Flickr. And of course this goes perfectly with your other page. Love when these sketches play together!

No wonder my ears were itchy! Thanks for playing with this sketch, justjac. I am heading over to Flickr in a bit to look at this page more closely and leave some love. That back to school paper by 49 & Market IS perfect for book club! I have the same photo and the same papers. Hmmmm...
