He felt better for a couple days after his vet visit. He now has a new sore on one of his feet. He has also lost more weight since the last visit.
We are at a loss with what is causing the weight loss. He's only 9. Hopefully we get answers tomorrow.
ETA: he has pancreatitis. Anyone been through this with their dog?

We went through that with our dog as well as having friends who had pets with it also. We managed it by keeping her on the low fat dog food the vet recommended, also making sure she didn’t get table scraps of any sort. She was a senior when she first had it but did fine for several more years before another issue caused her death.

Our two year old GSD was diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency just two weeks ago. He was losing weight because he can not absorb the nutrients from his food and as a result he was constantly hungry. He's been on medication since, and will be on it for life, but we can already see a difference in him. He looks healthier and is putting on weight. He seems happier too. He's also on B12 for 3 months. I know Elvis has a slightly different illness but I believe it's treatable and I hope you will notice a difference in him shortly. I know pancreatitis can lead to diabetes and I think EPI can too, so our boy will be having regular check ups.
