It was a lovely video in my opinion.. they shared what they wanted. End of story. Maybe there is more, maybe less. Let them announce what they want in their own time.
My sister got cancer the exact same week.. or should I say when Katherine announced she had cancer, it was the same week my sis found out. It kinda weird to gage both people and their recovery. Katherine looks more well rested (ONLY from what I can tell from pics/videos) than where my sister is at. It's all different of course, but it's been in the back of my head comparing both women. I am SO curious to what cancer Katherine has though.. not to invade on their privacy, but just curious if it is anything near the same as sissy.

I suspect she is sicker than we know. I hope I'm wrong. I have had the same thought.

Something else we need to bear in mind, imho, is that ANY thing they say is immediately dissected by the media and broadcast or reported in the newspapers. They have a young family who are unlikely to be fully aware of the extent of her illness, to protect the children and stop them being more frightened than they likely have been. The children are all at school, their classmates will have access to media reports if not themselves then with their families discussing things. It’s human nature to discuss these things; we are! How awful it would be for the children to go to school and have the minutiae of their mother’s health discussed. Catherine has always said protecting the children is important. It’s more important than us, the general public, knowing the full details of her illness.

And even when you get that result, you never trust it again... Always expecting it to sneak back in. And you're afraid if you use the term "cured" it will jinx you... I am trying not to live like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Having gone through a misdiagnosis before finding out it was cancer in the same time frame and ending up having abdominal surgery means my sisters/friends and I have had way too many speculative conversations. Something else we need to bear in mind, imho, is that ANY thing they say is immediately dissected by the media and broadcast or reported in the newspapers. They have a young family who are unlikely to be fully aware of the extent of her illness, to protect the children and stop them being more frightened than they likely have been. It’s more important than us, the general public, knowing the full details of her illness. I assume this is a big part of why they have kept the diagnosis close, although I'm not sure I agree with using terms like "preventative chemo" is helpful. Whether or not a type of cancer, staging and treatment options are discussed by the family publicly, without a doubt, George and Charlotte are going to hear speculation and have questions.

Im of the opinion that she can literally not please anyone. If she doesn't put out a video she is accused of being dead. If she does put out a video, then people are asking why a video in the woods and not just a press release. Must mean she is sicker than we thought. IMHO, she cannot win. Then if people are ok with her putting a video out, then they are upset that she didn't disclose her personal medical information. And criticizing why she hasn't put out a statement encouraging screenings for whatever cancer she has. But wait, then people are going to claim she got better medical care than their niece who had the same cancer (but you know, different stage, etc). Its a never ending battle that I am sure she would rather not play.
