I'll be 100% honest. I have never watched a TFG debate/speech/press conference all the way through. Even the one with Clinton. I just have been unable to do so, he drives me THAT nuts. I watch what I can, then catch up online after the fact.
ANYHOW, I plan to pour a glass of wine or two, pop some popcorn (literally) and watch this evening. I am hoping that Harris does what I think she's capable of, and I am totally here for it. That said, I'm watching at home alone. No watch parties that I know of amongst my friends, and I'm not really into watching in a bar on my own.
I feel badly for those of you on the east coast. It'll end so close to bedtime for y'all. I know I'll need some time to digest before even thinking about going to bed.
So, are you watching at home? Alone? Watching with family? Friends? Going to a watch party? Ignoring it completely? What are YOUR plans for this evening?!?

I never watch anything that involves the Orange One. I would love to watch because of Harris, but I'm not sure I can take it. It will be all over the news and the internet tomorrow, and I can watch highlights -- or the whole thing -- on YouTube or elsewhere... So, I'm probably not going to watch.

We’ll probably watch it while cooking and eating dinner at home.

I'm planning on watching with a healthy pour(s) of wine. I can't stand listening to him talk, but I'm excited to see Harris make shreds of him. I may not stay up to watch the whole thing but I'm recording it.

DH and I are going to do take out and we’ll watch in separate rooms, because he likes to surf, even while watching the debate. I’ll watch, and maybe also - watch the Bulwark commentary on You Tube.

I am heading over to my Mom's and bringing dinner. No one else in the family watches so we can yell, cheer, laugh and whatever we want without anyone else interfering.
I just hope he is velcroed to his podium so we don't see him wander into Kamala's space as he did to Hillary.

My husband and I are watching at home. If the stakes weren't so high I'd say this was our superbowl. I'm feeling really emotional, actually. There is such a high bar for her...she needs to knock it out of the park. Where all he has to do is not keel over. He can spew his gibberish and hate and still half of the electorate will say he won.
That said, we are having homemade wings and loaded fries, possibly margaritas, and a triple berry pie I made this morning that says "we are not going back" in decorative pie crust. We have popcorn, but we'll likely be stuffed.

I will be glued to my tv set which will be really hard because the Husker vb team is playing Creighton at 7:00 tonight, and I don't think the game will be over by debate time.

I will watch for at least a little while. Depending on how much non-sense is going on will depend on if I continue to watch or not.

I do intend to watch tonight. I didn't watch the one with Biden or Clinton either.
But I do want to see how Harris handles herself and what her responses are.
But if I get too tight and get bothered I will turn it off.
I already know who I am voting for (Harris) so no need to be swayed one way or there other.
Just curious what some questions and responses will be (don't know all of her picky ideas yet).

Oh and watching at home with dh. Sometimes ds gets invested in political stuff. Dd doesn't. She doesn't like the bickering and nonsense of Trump. Makes her anxious.

I'll watch the highlights later. My blood pressure cannot take more than 30 seconds of listening to the orange moron ramble and getting depressed that a lot of humans are bamboozled by him.

I can't. I can't take his voice and any kind of contentious back and forth raises my blood pressure. I'll watch clips on YouTube later and read articles about it. Tonight I'll be watching the Astros game.

I am on the east coast and I will not be watching. I don't need to see/hear that sad excuse for a human right before bed. It's not like he's going to surprise me with anything he does/says. In fact I imagine he's going to basically make a mockery of the entire debate process with his antics, so I feel I'm better off not watching that transpire.
There will be ample opportunity for me to read all about it (and see clips) the next day.

I watched the second debate with Hillary and felt really uncomfortable. I can’t pin point why but the vibe he was giving off was icky. I already know who I am voting for, I don’t need my blood pressure going up or just that general feeling of doom I get when I hear him.

I'm in a meeting during the debate and I'm thankful for it. Trump has the same accent and a lot of the same mannerisms as the FIL who hates me (they grew up together although Trump told FIL that FIL is dead to him) and I find watching him really uncomfortable under the best of circumstances. I'll definitely catch the highlights and news about it later, but I am not sorry I can't watch in real time without knowing what is coming.

I have never ever watched a debate before. But I’m going to try watching this one and see how it goes. I know a lot of people at work will be talking about it so I would like to get my opinion on it. Unfortunately the people at work are DT fans.

Home with DH. I've always watched all the presidential debates until the last one. I only made it to the first commercial break before I couldn't take anymore of either one for different reasons.
Yes, it is hard to get to sleep after something like this. I'm all keyed up.

as much as i can't stand the sound of TFG's voice, i will watch the debate tonight to see if he actually talks policy and doesn't whine the entire time. i want to see how Harris performs on a debate stage and how she will react to his ongoing lies and attacks.

I'll be home watching myself on eastern time. I'm supposed to avoid stress but this can't be helped, I feel I HAVE to watch. Going to take a quick nap first tho.
