I'm not watching the debate (can't stand listening to the Cheeto), DH doesn't want to watch, but DD is watching it for civics class extra credit (in my bedroom where I can't see or hear it) and says it's hilarious and I should be watching the Trump train wreck.

My son goes on a tangent when he brings up the military. Son was in the AF and was overseas. He follows military news quite religiously.

For me the biggest wtf moment was after, when he was rattling off made up percentages of how he won the debate 90%, 70%, 60% and during the date it was the “concept of a plan” and the shout out to Viktor Orban.

I had a few, but I think the eating cats and dogs part really had me thinking he’s lost his mind. Basing that claim on some random FB post that got some traction and has been debunked? Sheesh! I poured a large, I mean I was using a 40 glass tumbler! large, gin and tonic. Now to be fair, it was not a full 40 oz tumbler. And I made it through. I talked back to the TV, scratched off my BINGO card way early in the debate and texted with my two oldest kids. My DH was asleep in the chair across from me. My pup was asleep on my feet as she went in for her yearly shots. When he got the cats and dogs part I hooted so loud. I am sure my neighbors heard me and I woke up DH for a moment. However, it didn't take long for him to be out again. Oh and the other early on part about birthing the babies, setting them aside and then deciding to execute them. No, that is outright murder and the school shooters are taking on that part quite nicely. I did check out FB from time to time to see FB friends posting on "where is her plan on economy, border, etc etc repeat repeat whatever" they all ask. Not a one of them had anything to say about the rambling, the dogs, nothing. |
