leannec How's your headache? You wouldn't have wanted to work today anyway. It's much better! You are right, I wouldn't have wanted to work! I spent the day watching Selling Sunset. A day well spent!!! I am knee deep in the series The Good Wife!! I will have lots of time to watch tv after my surgery. I am glad I have a show set and ready to go!!

lucyg I'm so happy to hear your news and will continue praying for more shrinkage! taylortroop❤️ღ♪*•.¸¸.•*¨¨*•.¸.•*⭐️¨¨*•.¸¸.•*•♪ღ♪❤️🎈🎂🎉 ღ♪░H░A░P░P░Y░ B░I░R░T░H░D░A░Y░♪ღ ❤️•♪ღ♪*•.¸¸.•*¨¨*•⭐️•*¨¨*•.¸¸.•*•♪ღ♪❤️🎈🎂🎉 Seems prescription insurance is difficult with getting inhalers approved. It's ridiculous. I spent an hour on the phone getting the exact verbiage on different inhalers along with frequency to get it approved. But hopefully the new meds will help my cough or I have to go back. The furbaby had his vet visit today and was happy to leave and go on errands with me for drive up or drive through. Tonight is panzanella salad. Similar to bruschetta scrapmaven. I tear up ciabatta, chops up garden tomatoes and basil, add some fresh mozzarella and calabrese salame. Drizzle with balsamic and olive oil. Yum!

Happy birthday taylortroop , I hope your day is fabulous! And lucyg , that is great news! Well it seems that I now have a UTI, just as my other ridiculous thing is clearing up. It's only the second time in my life that I've had a UTI. I've just come back from the doc and will start taking the antibiotics tonight, as well as the probiotics to prevent the other inevitable side effect of antibiotics. Dinner was dumplings.

Happy birthday, taylortroop ! I’m sorry I’ve been so absent lately. Life has just been crazy. Tomorrow I leave for a 4-day crop with friends. But starting next week, things should start being a little calmer. Dinner will be whatever I can scrounge together from the stuff in the fridge. Guess I’ll need to toss what’s left. Have a great weekend, all. P.S. I had a CT scan on Monday, and the metastasis in my lungs has shrunk in the two months since I started the new chemo regimen. That’s awesome!!

christine58 ----awww, thank you! leannec ---watching "Selling Sunset" is the BEST thing you could have done today! OMG---Amanza's birthday outfit !!!! I thought Chelsea's outfit was CUTE--if only the shorts had been about 2 inches longer. Marina ----Please say hi to your puppers for me! So sorry you're struggling with the cough, and an inhaler that EVERYONE who needs should be able to get, including those w/out insurance !!! It's infuriating that so many Americans have to worry about medical costs! ** Remember when they stopped covering EPI-PENS ?!!! (too bad that bee stung you---you'll just have to die!-- Thoughtsand prayers! ) ** And then increased the price of insulin.....people are dying / getting very sick because they cannot AFFORD it! **@pantsonfire has gone through hell to get her son's formula that keeps him alive !!! /rant over

Speaking of Epi Pena, if your insurance doesn't cover them (ours does at 100% now due to state law), Epi Pen has a program where you print a coupon and you get 2 for $35.
We had to do that one year when insurance decides to not cover and after a bunch of complaints to the Dept of Managed Health Care and insurance commissioner, law was changed to 100%.
Dd needed 2 packs, ds needed 2 packs and I needed one. So yeah oop expense was costly.

cadoodlebug....I know you lived in Louisiana at some point....if you still have loved ones there, I hope you hear from them and they're okay. I only lived there with my immediate family since my dad was stationed in NOLA. They were transferred when I was a sophomore at LSU so no one still lives there. BUT I have many friends/classmates who are still there and I worry about them.
