Good Morning.
Today I'm going to PT and then dh and I are running up to the camera store, so that I can buy my new camera. I'm going to have to take the class that is offered at the end of the month, too.
What is everyone up to today?
I'm not sure what to make for dinner. Dh and Ods had takeout last night. It'll be something keto .friendly.
How is everyone doing today?
Wishing my tribe a delightful day.

Hi scrapmaven! I hope you are going to have a good day. How is the PT going? lucyg I read your good news this morning too and I have to say that I am just so darn glad to hear that. ❤️ We have had a busier few days that I normally like. Or maybe it just seemed busy. Anyway Jeremys mom and aunts and uncles came up here on Monday and they finally just pulled out. So it's us. Just the way I like it. I think tonight we are going to have pizza/calzones. We can make them in the pie irons. Or we can make mini pizzas on the Blackstone. We are thinking of spending most of our afternoon at the pool. This campground is a bit of a resort-ish kind of place. I'm trying to figure out how to knit a scarf. Wish me luck.

Happy Thursday!
I just finished social for the yummy chocolate shop and now I want some! The parents have lots of dr appointments this week so I'm getting ready to take my dad to one. Tomorrow I think they both have one. I'll have to check my calendar.
Last night, I took them both to an appointment and then had grocery pickup after that so i was pretty pooped by the time I got home. I just had a frozen pizza for dinner so tonight I'll make the spaghetti I was too tired to make last night.
Hope you all have a great day!

Enjoy aquafit and have a truly nice day ntsf . jeremysgirl , pt is going well. I have more range of motion in the shoulder and it is much comfier. On a fun note, my physical therapist is a good friend of Ods's bff. They used to work together in high school and she became a doctor of PT. I want to introduce her to ods, because she's adorable and clearly, has a very good career that she loves. I found this stuff out during our first visit when she mentioned her job before college. Thank you for asking. I'm off to Houston next week for a tune-up. Now that you have Jeremy all to yourself enjoy the time together. Good for you for learning to knit. Fun stuff. Tearisci , eat your Wheaties and take care of yourself while you take care of your parents this week.
cadoodlebug, that meme made me literally cough up my coffee. Enjoy shopping. If you're going to Macys don't forgot to look for a wow pass online.

After a busier day yesterday, today was take it easy. My cleaner was here this morning, so I used that time to catch up on emails and phone calls. I needed to schedule a blood test that I need to have no more than 14 days before my PET scan, and we are away on vacation from 12 days before until 2 days before, so not a big window of opportunity there. Thankfully my GPs office can get me in the day before vacation. I also had to sort out our walking tour in Venice. I was given the name of our guide on Monday after booking on Sunday, then woke up to two emails sent late yesterday (they went to junk so I missed them before) - one asking if we could move the tour to 8am (NO WAY - I’m on vacation), then a ‘disregard previous email’. An hour later, another email, with a different name got the tour guide! I did finally (I hope) get it sorted!
I’ve been knitting most of the afternoon, except for a quick supermarket trip. I really can’t be bothered with cooking dinner, so I bought a frozen pizza to heat up. DH will be home tomorrow night, but not for dinner.

Happy Friday eve, friends!
Not really much to report on here. Just work and work and being lazy after. I do need to do laundry tonight, though.
I was looking online and saw that the ENT who I have a second opinion visit with next month had an opening about 2 weeks before when I'm scheduled. I called the office to see if I could switch appointments, but the sooner one isn't enough time for a new patient visit apparently.
I do want to cancel the other appt with the ENT I'm seeing next week though that was originally scheduled for October as well. Telling me I have chronic sinus issues is not helpful. I'll see her next week to see what she says about the labs and CT, but if she's not going to provide solutions, I don't need to waste my time.
I did schedule my pneumonia vaccine for tomorrow, so hopefully that will increase my antibodies.

Good Afternoon!
It has been a busy day in the office. Today is my last work day before my business trip next week. Trying to get a lot done...
It is going to be a hot one here today. I think a high of 90 degrees. I had the top down on the Jeep on the way to work and it was a cool 58.
I need to do some shopping to get a sweater for those cold meeting rooms.
Taking DD and DGD's out for dinner tonight. We will let them decide where to go.

It's gloomy, cool and raining here today ... weather I hate. I need to run a couple of errands but not until the rain lets up ... if it does! No other plans today other than finish watching this latest season of Selling Sunset. My mum is coming over after bingo and is staying for dinner ... we are having Sloppy Joe's again I think ... yum!

The weather is absolutely beautiful here in the Northeast ...high 70's and no humidity....I could stand this everyday...like forever!!
I did a couple of errands this morning, and while out I got haddock for dinner, which I will bake/stuff....most likely a salad to go with...or maybe asparagus.

We've got the same weather as karenlou, and it is my absolute favorite! Windows will be open all day. I'm dragging a bit since we didn't get home until 12:30 last night - way, way past my bedtime - but it was a wonderful concert and worth it to be a little tired. And I'll be watching whatever Pink documentaries are streaming to continue the happy vibe for a few days. This morning I spent too long dealing with our home insurance renewal. Bottom line is our new roof does reduce the premium by $200, but only one other of their "loyalty" partners that they convinced me to get a quote from would even look at our policy and then promptly denied it. I will get a letter telling me why. I'm seeing a new ophthalmologist this afternoon and hoping/expecting to discuss cataract surgery for my right eye. Dinner is going to be salmon and asparagus. I might make a risotto or maybe a lemon pasta dish. Risotto is tempting but takes more energy than I might have by dinner time.

Nothing happening here today. I’ve done three loads of laundry and called it a day! It’s gorgeous but getting hot, so we’ve escaped into the house for a bit.
I walked with my bestie last night and she said that she was all packed for our cruise. WHAT?? I feel like such a slacker. However, I need to pack for our cottage excursion next week before I can worry about the cruise packing.
Supper will be grilled chicken.

Hey all - been just so busy lately, haven't really had time to check in with everyone! Have a lazy evening as my husband has a dinner/work function. No clue what I'll have - maybe cheese and crackers! Heading to Hawaii this weekend for a much needed REST! I downloaded a half a dozen fluffy books and am planning on doing nothing! Take care all!

Popping in to say hello!! leannec we are having the exact same weather as you. The leaves are falling off the trees at a record rate!! I was surprised to see that I am already on season 2 of the Good Wife. That means I have watched over 20 episodes in less that 2 weeks. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised...I got a notification on my phone that my activity level has significantly dropped over the last 5 weeks. cadoodlebug I have not watched Poldark but I will definitely check it out. I am thinking of ordering a cross stitch kit to do while I am recovering. Does anyone have a good recommendation on where to look. It would need to be online...we don't have much locally. Dinner tonight is out with friends who are coming into town. They were hoping to see Hudson, but his mama is working (nurse) so Hudson is with his other grandma for the day/night. I don't know where we are going but I am hoping for something light, maybe a fancy salad or fish tacos. scrapmaven congrats on the new camera...and taking the class!! Glad your shoulder if feeling better!! bc2ca sometimes dealing with insurance companies can be so maddening. My sister lives and CA and has troubles with her insurance company as well.

Dinner is going to be salmon and asparagus. I might make a risotto or maybe a lemon pasta dish. Risotto is tempting but takes more energy than I might have by dinner time. Yum, this sounds delicious! I love risotto with salmon. Can you find one of those no-stir risotto recipes, or even a baked risotto? It is very tedious having to stand there stirring for 20+ minutes. And speaking of risotto, we went to DD's house for dinner. She made a chicken, bacon, and mushroom risotto. It was delicious.

I walked with my bestie last night and she said that she was all packed for our cruise. WHAT?? I feel like such a slacker. However, I need to pack for our cottage excursion next week before I can worry about the cruise packing. OMG, I don't have enough clothes to pack for any trip more than a day in advance! Yum, this sounds delicious! I love risotto with salmon. Can you find one of those no-stir risotto recipes, or even a baked risotto? It is very tedious having to stand there stirring for 20+ minu My favorite part of risotto is getting it super creamy which makes it worth the standing and stirring most of the time. Once I found out DH wasn't going to be home for dinner my motivation level dropped to Basmati in the rice cooker. I had an interesting visit with the eye doctor and go back tomorrow for a couple measurements and scheduling cataract surgery on my right eye (my left was done 2 years ago). I knew my eye deteriorated this year and am thrilled I don't have to wait for surgery.

I sent my suitcase ahead for my trip next week. I told dh that I'm not going anywhere until I leave, because I packed it all. Wasn't sure what I'd need. I wrote a long post and it vanished. I had meat and raw vegetables. Everything was very fresh. Something normal that I love tasted bitter. That is weird and I am not sure why. Coffee maybe.
Everything is peaceful. I will probably hear from DS later.

Dinner tonight was lobster bisque and garlic bread. I spent half the day helping my daughter in law put vinyl on sweatshirts and tumblers for her cheerleaders.
Lately I've been thinking of trying to make risotto (never have) but been having back issues and can't stand for more than 10 minutes without my right leg going numb. Will give it a try once that clears up.

We had tickets to MJ tonight. It’s the Michael Jackson story. The actor who played him was amazing. We purposely didn’t read reviews because then our expectations are too high. We went out to one of our favorites beforehand. The last time we went the service wasn’t good and it wasn’t today either. My dh will probably boycott them now. 🤣 I had clam chowder with beet salad. Enjoy your alone time jeremysgirlsueg we are the opposite on vacation. We want the earliest times because we do not sleep in We just wake up at the normal time automatically.
