Any pea ever have this?
DH has a lab that will do his sonogram etc for the urologist and his bladder tumor. Last week the lab said they would send over address, confirm time etc. No message came. At the end of the business day, I called and asked for particulars since no text had arrived. She said, "I'll send it again right now." I said, just to be sure, give me the particulars. It was a good thing, because the message has never appeared.
Many years ago, DH and the DIL's phones were like this. She came over angry, very angry with him. "WHY won't you respond to me?" we showed her the phone and that the messages never came. She was still thinking he must have had her blocked or whatever. We deleted her, then added her in, and in front of her--she attempted to send him a text and nothing would happen.
For a long time a friend of mine could not get an email from me to come through. If I answered her, it worked. If I initiated a message--it went to a dead zone.
These are all ATT issues, if it matters. All individuals were using ATT for their provider. I will ask the imaging office who their provider is.

I haven't a clue, but maybe edit your title and add ATT to it.

A friend of mine has ATT and she could not recieve many calls. Treid and tried and tried and tird different stuff with ATT's asisstance. Even bought a new phone and that didn't help. Then one day it was fixed.
I have an iphone and when I have wonky stuff happen, I shut off for 15 minutes and turn back on and that seems to fix it.
Have you asked ATT their thoughts?

I have seen people complain about text messages with ATT.

I just had a problem with certain text messages on my iPhone with Verizon. Turns out I somehow muted the contacts (my daughters!)

Many years ago, DH and the DIL's phones were like this. She came over angry, very angry with him. "WHY won't you respond to me?" That's unfortunate, that she would assume he was ignoring her. In that same situation, I'd be more worried about him, and might call mom to see if he was okay. At any rate, it's probably a good practice to pre-blame technologic gadgets before loved ones until it can be ironed out.

I don't know who my sister's carrier is, but her iphone does this occasionally. She has to completely shut it down and restart it. I wish she'd do it nightly! I end up having to call her when she doesn't respond to texts. Then she had 20!

this is the reason we left ATT and went to Tmobile. We don't have these issues anymore. Voicemails that would show up 2 months after they were sent, texts that never came through. Calls that never came through but then went straight to voicemail. Enough. We are much happier with Tmobile. We get so many perks with them and we don't have any of these issues.
