AussieMeg....just in case you don't know, it'd be helpful if you either take a probiotic and/or ate some Greek yogurt, and/or I think Kombucha is also helpful. These can help you avoid ANOTHER infection. Ugh, it's a shame they wasted all that time by prescribing the incorrect antibiotic. scrapmaven....Ugh, I HOPE you migraine goes away asap !! Especially since you're traveling! My severe headaches are NOT migraines, and I have so much empathy for people who suffer from them. My headaches can be BRUTAL; but they don't last for days, and I can usually get rid of them with massage, sinus rinses, wearing a cold cap, and taking sinus pressure meds. jeremysgirl....This thing with your co-worker is just.....no words! leannec.....Hoping your depression has lifted a lot since yesterday! (( hugs )) When I feel the depression increasing, I call it my "black clouds". It's the best description I can come up with. It's as though no matter WHAT you do, those "black clouds" follow you everywhere.

jeremysgirl....Wow, that looks scrumptious !!!!!!!! ( as all of your colorful, healthy meals do! ) I'm not sure it was really healthy. I made the kale as instructed but next time instead of olive oil I will most likely cook it in veg broth. I think it would be just as good without the oil.

Sorry the migraine doesn't want to let you go, scrapmaven. Glad you made new connections at your retreat, austnscrapaddict. I definitely would fly with my airline. Getting points and benefits far outweigh being on the plane with friends. I have co-ordinated arrival & departure times with friends, but that is as far as we go. Linda, I didn't want to bump yesterday's thread, but cabbage is one of my favorite vegetables. Eggroll in a bowl, Korean tacos and this Finnish Cabbage Casserole are family favorites. I've made all with ground turkey or beef. The Birdhouse Lady, your weekend sounds pretty perfect. Will be thinking about you tomorrow. PolarGreen12!!! Great to see you pop in! DS was in OK for a wedding in the spring and I was thinking about you, hoping all was well with your parents and work. I had a weird sleep as I woke every time I rolled onto my right side. My neck and the side of my face up to my temple are red and swollen/tender. Thankfully I had a physical scheduled today. No diagnosis, but maybe cellulitis or maybe shingles. I'm on an antibiotic while we wait and see what happens. Because I didn't end up eating until after 2 by the time I was through appointments (including fasting blood work) and back home, I'm not feeling inspired to get dinner. DS was a little worried until I pointed out we have everything he needs to make a quick & easy fish tacos (street tacos, bagged slaw mix and frozen tortilla crusted tilapia).

then travel agent and store and then the pharmacy. (they couldn't find the filled prescription and after 10 min, created another one.
so still finishing laundry.. dh is leaving tomorrow.
lovely to hear about everyone as usual. good and bad.

Wow! AussieMeg ecoli? I'm shocked. And its affecting your downstairs? I never heard such a thing. I hope you feel better soon. I'm really confused. I didn't get to see my normal doctor (I think she has left). The doctor I saw has a really heavy accent, and I couldn't understand half of what he was saying. When I mentioned to my good friend (who is a GP) that I actually have an E. coli infection, she said "UTI usually is E. coli." So who knows? I will be catching up my friend for our walk on Thursday, so I will ask her more questions then. AussieMeg ....just in case you don't know, it'd be helpful if you either take a probiotic and/or ate some Greek yogurt, and/or I think Kombucha is also helpful. These can help you avoid ANOTHER infection. Not for dinner table talk: Oh yes, the very first thing I said when I went to the pharmacy the first time, is "Can you also give me something to prevent the inevitable thrush that I always get with antibiotics!"

I did not know that AussieMeg but I guess it does make sense. I just never thought the antibiotic would be different. I'm stumped.
