My my my.... Melania speaks out about choice... Former first lady Melania Trump is trying to stake out daylight between her husband on abortion in a new memoir, reported The Guardian on Wednesday. “It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government,” she wrote in the book set to be published a month before the election. “Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes." “Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life,” she continued. It is rare for Melania Trump, who is hardly even seen in public these days, to make any political statement, let alone one that sets her somewhat apart from former President Donald Trump. www.rawstory.com/melania-trump-abortion/

The white guy did it... he grabbed the geese and shot them!! x.com/stevanzetti/status/1841835234641207615It turns out that someone was illegally killing geese in Springfield, Ohio, but it wasn't a Haitian immigrant. Donald Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) spread baseless claims that the city's sizable Haitian immigrant population was stealing and eating other residents' pets, and police investigated rumors they were also killing Canada geese – but journalist Steven Monacelli found exactly one such case involving a white man from the area on the day of the presidential debate. "Complainant Michael Dudley ... observed a white male in his late 50s or early 60s, who was heavy set and riding a lawnmower, get off the lawnmower with a shotgun and shoot two geese near water on [Rocky Lake Golf Course]," police said in an incident report. "The man picked up the first goose and tossed it into the weeds. The second goose was wounded and as he collected it the man twisted it breaking its neck. This goose was disposed of in the same manner." Police spoke to the golf course manager the following day, Sept. 11, and she admitted that she allowed several individuals to hunt geese on the property, and based on the witness description she believed the hunter was one of her employees named Brian Comer, who then called officers himself."Mr. Comer advised that he was responsible for shooting the geese," police said. "Mr. Comer advised that he thought the golf course had a nuisance permit and that he could shoot the geese." However, police found the golf course did not hold a goose damage permit, and Comer did not have the necessary permits required to shoot the geese, and he was cited for hunting without an Ohio wetlands stamp, a fourth-degree misdemeanor that carries a maximum 30-day jail term or $250 in fines. www.rawstory.com/springfield-ohio-trump-2669321357/

MTG at her best.. begs for help for hurricane victims but will not fund FEMA because of Roe v Wade... Firebrand Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Thursday blamed America's evils on God's "punishment" for "murdering babies" and separately said she doesn't want to give the Federal Emergency Management Agency "a damn penny" despite the agency's desperate plea that it does not have enough funding to make it through this hurricane season. FEMA is being stretched as it continues to respond to the aftermath of the deadly Hurricane Helene, delivering food, water, generators and other vital supplies, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. The massive storm barrelled into the Southeast and flooded multiple towns, killing more than 160 people. At a town hall on Thursday, Greene addressed FEMA's plea when asked by a constituent, and separately said the country "feels like it is under judgment" since the Roe v. Wade ruling in 1983. In response to a submitted question about FEMA seeking more hurricane funds, Greene said: "Hmm, $640 million spent on illegals. I'm not giving them a damn penny!" The claim, which has become a talking point on the right, stems from the DHS website under its Shelter and Services Program. "For Fiscal Year (FY) 2024, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will provide $640.9 million of available funds to enable non-federal entities to off-set allowable costs incurred for services associated with noncitizen migrant arrivals in their communities," the site said. FEMA's fiscal year 2024 budget, which began Oct. 1, 2023, was about $30 billion. The proposed 2025 budget is about $33 billion. Greene's comment also comes after she pleaded with the federal government to “send the funds” to help the region's recovery.“The storm was supposed to come directly across my district, but when it came through Georgia, it went to the east, and we mainly just got a lot of rain,” Greene told Real America’s Voice. “When we go back to Washington, we will be working hard to make sure that states like Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina get the funding that they need.” Separately, Greene was also asked if she considered the country has "evil leaders" as a result of the "Almighty's punishment" because "we have turned" from God. Greene suggested such evil stems from Roe v. Wade. www.rawstory.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-2669322680/youtu.be/IyM6-57zq6s?si=NKYZ78qMVI2rE2aG

This guy is a jerk! And stupid on top of it!! Far-right Idaho state Sen. Dan Foreman got into a heated argument with a Native American candidate during a forum this week that culminated with him shouting at her to "go back to where you came from," laccording to a report. Trish Carter-Goodheart, a member of the Nez Perce tribe and candidate for House Seat A, said in a statement that the incident occurred at a "meet the candidates" gathering Tuesday in the northern Idaho town of Kendrick, where voters posed questions to Senate and House candidates in the area. The dispute began when Foreman categorically proclaimed discrimination did not exist in Idaho, reported Boise State Public Radio on Thursday. Carter-Goodheart took issue with this, pointing out that there is an extensive and painful history of white supremacist organizations in northern Idaho. The state GOP has on multiple occasions had to fight off takeovers by those white supremacist groups. “[J]ust because someone hasn’t personally experienced discrimination, doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Racism and discrimination are real issues here in Idaho, as anyone familiar with our state’s history knows,” she explained in a statement issued after the forum. “I highlighted our weak hate crime laws and mentioned the presence of the Aryan Nations in northern Idaho as undeniable evidence of this reality.” In response to Carter-Goodheart's words at the forum, according to the report, Foreman "stood up and angrily interjected, using an expletive to criticize what he cast as the liberal bent of the response." He then told her she should "go back to where you came from," Carter-Goodheart said, before storming away. Carter-Goodheart's Republican candidate, incumbent Rep. Lori McCann, was among the attendees who corroborated the incident. www.rawstory.com/dan-foreman/

Devin 'the cow' Nunes surfaces again. Employees claim he is mismanaging TFG media and offering up retaliation toward whistleblowers.. But he stays....?? Former President Donald Trump’s media company has forced out executives in recent days after internal allegations that its CEO, former Rep. Devin Nunes, is mismanaging the company, according to interviews and records of communications among former employees.Several people involved with Trump Media believe the ousters are retaliation following what they describe as an anonymous “whistleblower” complaint regarding Nunes that went to the company’s board of directors. The chief operating officer and chief product officer have left the company, along with at least two lower-level staffers, according to interviews, social media posts and communications between former staffers reviewed by ProPublica. The company, which runs the social media platform Truth Social, disclosed the departure of the chief operating officer in a securities filing Thursday afternoon. ProPublica has not seen the whistleblower complaint. But several people with knowledge of the company said the concerns revolve around alleged mismanagement by Nunes. One person said they include allegations of misuse of funds, hiring of foreign contractors and interfering with product development. *** After the internal allegations about Nunes were made at Trump Media, the company enlisted a lawyer to investigate and interview staffers, according to a person with knowledge of the company. Then, last week, some employees who were interviewed by the lawyer were notified they were being pushed out, the person said. The employees being pushed out include a human relations director and a product designer, along with Chief Operating Officer Andrew Northwall and Chief Product Officer Sandro De Moraes. The person with knowledge of the company said Trump Media asked the employees to sign an agreement pledging not to make public claims of wrongdoing against the company in exchange for severance. www.propublica.org/article/trump-media-truth-social-executives-ousted-devin-nunes

Where does the GOP find these guys?? Royce White is running behind Amy Klobuchar. Royce White, the Trump-loving Republican candidate for the United States Senate in Minnesota, said just two years ago that America was "the bad guy" in World War II. *** In a post on Twitter from 2022 unearthed by Heartland Signal, White wrote that "the bad guys won in WW II" and then elaborated to say that "there were no 'good guys' in that war." *** He then further said that "if you look closely, you see the link between liberalism and communism in the allied forces," despite the fact that the United States and the Soviet Union after the war engaged in the decades-long Cold War that ended with the fall of communism in Russia in the late 1980s. White also suggested in his post that Gen. George Patton was murdered because he supposedly believed that the United States and Russia were the "bad guys" in the war, which would be strange for him to believe given his role in leading America to victory in Europe. www.rawstory.com/royce-white-bad-guy-ww-2/

I am not an expert, I have no inside info. Just a few comments... The jobs report is fake according to Vance and FOX. Vance is claiming that so many jobs mean that indocimented immigrants are taking so many of the jobs. NO... Employers do NOT report hiring undocumented immigrants!!Again complaining that the undocumented immigrants are taking the low-level jobs away from Americans. Right? x.com/JustinWolfers/status/1842251816546754677Show more: Kamala Harris's economy has been an unmitigated disaster for American citizens. This is what happens when you bring in 20M+ low-wage workers through the wide open southern border. The American people get screwed while Kamala's corporate benefactors enjoy unlimited cheap labor. Quote Greg Price @greg_price11 · Here’s everything you need to know about the so-called great jobs report: Over the last year, employment for native born American workers fell by 825K *** REUTERS Panelists on Fox Business aren't the only people trying to tamp down the good news about employment in the United States. Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) on Friday claimed that we should ignore the topline number of 254,000 net jobs created last month on the grounds that all of them were supposedly taken by undocumented immigrants."Kamala Harris's economy has been an unmitigated disaster for American citizens," Vance claimed on Twitter. "This is what happens when you bring in 20M+ low-wage workers through the wide open southern border. The American people get screwed while Kamala's corporate benefactors enjoy unlimited cheap labor."Vance then cited data showing that there are currently 825,000 fewer native-born Americans employed this year than were employed last year to back up his claims. But as University of Michigan economist Justin Wolfers wrote, Vance's claims about immigrants taking Americans' jobs don't add up, as many of the "lost" jobs by native-born Americans came from aging Baby Boomers deciding to retire. In fact, noted Wolfers, when you look at employment data for native-born Americans in their prime working years, the economy looks to be very strong. "Senator, I don't want to get caught up on facts, but the share of American-born folks in their prime working years who have jobs is higher than at any point during the Trump administration, and indeed, it's the highest it's ever been since the BLS started publishing these numbers," Wolfers wrote in his response to Vance. In addition to showing that the economy added more than 250,000 jobs over the last month, the Friday jobs report also showed wages grew at 4 percent, easily outpacing the 2.5 percent rate of inflation. www.rawstory.com/jd-vance-jobs-report/Just remember all those low level jobs that the supposed undocumented immigrants are taking are the jobs the TFG and his ilk think are the Black and Hispanic jobs...

As I've said... Do not believe TFG and Vance as they backtrack their words about abortion.... They cannot be trusted!!! As a vice presidential running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) has heard criticism that his past absolutist anti-abortion positions, from proclaiming he'd like the procedure to be "illegal nationally" to saying incest victims should have to give birth even if it's "inconvenient," are dragging down the ticket. So he tried to adopt a softer tone on the issue at this week's vice presidential debate, according to a report Friday. *** But voters shouldn't be fooled, experts told Salon — even the policy vision Vance described onstage would still be stacked heavily against women's rights over their own bodies.*** "Instead of saying that they supported, and in Trump's case orchestrated, the overturn of Roe, Trump and Vance are backpedaling by now emphasizing that all they want to do is to give the power back to the states for the states' voters to decide," University of New Mexico political science professor Wendy Hansen wrote, adding that the two are "both working to keep voters that they have alienated by supporting bans on abortions." *** And ultimately, experts cautioned Salon, there's not even any indication Trump and Vance would adhere to the few compromises they're pledging if they gain full control of the government. "Let's just say the House and Senate pass a national abortion ban. Does Donald Trump truly veto that? That seems a stretch," said North Carolina State political science professor Steven Greene. "People have every reason to be skeptical of just how honest Trump and Vance are being with them about where they would take abortion policy."www.rawstory.com/jd-vance-abortion-2669328130/

TFG claimed that Chase CEO was endorsing him... Ha ha fake !!! Really fake... Maybe Dimon listened to Katie Porter!! Donald Trump bragged Friday about winning the support of a powerful Wall Street leader — just minutes before the supposed backer debunked his claim. Trump went on his Truth Social platform, claiming JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has endorsed him for president. New: Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, has endorsed Trump for President." the post claimed, alongside a red flashing light emoji. Just 20 minutes later, his claim was smashed. “Jamie Dimon has not endorsed anyone. He has not endorsed a candidate,” Joe Evangelisti, a spokesman for the CEO told CNBC. Trump's campaign did not respond to calls from CNBC. www.rawstory.com/trump-dimon-endorsement/But..... On PBS, Jamie Dimon described the Buffett Rule as a good idea for clamping down on US debt. It says richer households shouldn't pay taxes on a smaller share of income than middle-class ones. He argued that if the US followed this, it could continue spending while still reducing debt. JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon has put forth a solution to unrestrained US debt: Tax the rich at the same rate as middle-class people, or at a higher rate. The bank executive told "PBS News Hour" in August that the country could clamp down on runaway borrowing without eliminating spending. Dimon said he expects that reducing the debt while still investing in the right initiatives is "doable." *** "I would spend the money that helps make it a better country, so some of this is infrastructure, earned-income tax credits, military," he said. "I would have a competitive national tax system, and then I would maximize growth." Dimon added, "And then you'll have a little bit of a deficit, and you would maybe just raise taxes a little bit — like the Warren Buffett type of rule, I would do that." This rule posits that no household making above $1 million a year should pay taxes on a lower share of their income than middle-class earners. It earned its name from the billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who famously criticized the fact that his secretary paid a higher tax rate than he did.*** Calls for wealthier Americans to pay higher taxes have grown louder in the past year as economists have searched for answers to the federal government's skyrocketing debt.finance.yahoo.com/news/jamie-dimon-says-buffett-rule-014552492.html/

Simply not true. www.dvidshub.net/news/482265/nc-air-national-guard-delivers-over-100000-lbs-essential-supplies-western-north-carolina-helenes-aftermathwww.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2024/10/04/national-guard-helene-helicopters-supply-rescue-north-carolina/NC National Guardeta - FAA posted this www.faa.gov/airtraffic/flightinfo/hurricaneseason/operating-near-hurricane-helene-recovery-effortsOperating Near Hurricane Helene Recovery Efforts
Immense recovery efforts are underway at the federal, state and local levels following Hurricane Helene and they require close coordination. The airspace around the recovery efforts in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee have high levels of aviation activity, including small airplanes, helicopters, and drones. The FAA’s goal at all times is to ensure safety and help facilitate this critical work.
At the request of local authorities or law enforcement, the Federal Aviation Administration can issue Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) to ensure safety for aircraft conducting Hurricane Helene rescue and recovery activities. These TFRs do not ban aircraft, including drones, from providing disaster relief and recovery assistance. State and local authorities may also enact local restrictions. Relief operations, including civilian and volunteer operations, may access the restricted airspace if they are coordinated with emergency responders. In a dynamic and quickly evolving environment like this, TFRs are constantly shifting and you can find the latest online here: tfr.faa.gov/tfr2/list.html
Additionally, at the request of a state government, the FAA will issue an Airspace Coordination Area (ACA), which is an advisory for very specific circumstances—a heads up about an unusual situation and/or congestion that pilots should be aware of. An ACA does not restrict airspace, but provides pilots important guidance. You can find the latest online here: notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/.
A local airport may implement Prior Permission Required (PPR) to manage air traffic, ensure safety and control access to their airport. These airports are not closed; however, pilots and operators must get permission to have full use of the runway or airport facility.
