It was a good night for them as I have friends here in Vermont that have some great pictures. Seeing that we could see them here (not typical but not unheard of either) it must have been a pretty big geomagnetic storm.

Are they seasonal? I saw them in May of this year. And have seen them in other months also, but twice in May.

Beautiful! It was truly magical in May when we just happened to be outside. We had no idea it was going to happen. That experience with my son and husband was priceless.
