Has anyone preserved their own wedding bouquet or used a company and mailed it to them? My daughter got married Friday and I totally dropped the ball on this. I would like it framed with the invite but can’t find a place to do it.

Could you maybe check with the florist? They might know somebody.

I’ve seen shops on Etsy that do this, but I haven’t tried any myself to recommend one.

I know I saved some roses from a bouquet. And what I did is, I let them dry and then I put them between wax paper and put them inside a book for a while. But there’s there has to be a better way. I wonder if a craft store could help you like Michael’s or Joannes or Hobby lobby? They might know something you could spray them with.

I've just hung flowers on the shower curtain rod in my unused bathroom. If the bouquet is very dense you may need to separate it. Do some research on the flowers if they dry well. I know roses and hydrangeas dry well.

I didn’t preserve an entire bouquet, but I did take the flowers from the bride and groom’s reception table, with their permission, and I used the silicone flower drying mix that you can get at craft supply stores. I dried all of the flowers separately, then made my own paper pulp mixture and included the dried flowers in it. I had a mold that made a heart shaped card and an envelope to go with it.
I made up about two dozen cards and envelopes and then tied them with the ribbon that was in her arrangement. I gave the cards to the couple and told them to write each other notes with cards made from the flowers on their wedding head table. The husband asked if the notes were to be love notes or apology cards after a fight. I said whatever they wanted them to be. He said if they were supposed to be apology cards, he wanted me to make him at least 50 more. His wife didn’t appreciate his comment.

I feel like my mom did this for my bouquet over 20 yrs ago, and had it framed with the invitation. Maybe if you took it to a framing company?

Just make sure she wants to hang on to them. I didn't even keep my bouquet.

I had mine turned into a tray and three small jewelry dishes (one for me, mom, MIL). I used someone I found via a friend on instagram. I would search there - try the hashtag floral preservation. The person I used was also doing framing but I don’t think she is any longer. Good luck!

If you're looking for something framed, pressedfloral.com does preserving and framing. They also have a few other preserved floral items they provide. My DD is getting married in 3 weeks and is thinking about having her bridal bouquet pressed and framed.

My mom had some of my flowers preserved in a little glass box about 3x3". They are very pretty and have sat on my dresser for over 25 years.

DS got married in August. DIL mailed her bouquet to a business in Hawaii I think that will preserve them in resin. She chose to have a pair of bookends made with them as she and DS are avid readers.
