I have my mother's and my grandmother's hamburger patty stackers and popsicle trays. I don't use them very often, but I'll probably never get rid of them.

I thought they fizzled out years ago, along with some of the other home party companies. I haven't heard of a party since my mother went to them; all of the Tupperware I have I bought online. I had no idea that it was sold online. When I last bought Tupperware (in the early 1980's), it was sold at home parties. I wonder how many companies still have home parties, or have they all switched to online ordering?

I sold Tupperware in the early seventies and still have and use a few pieces but LocknLock is what I mainly use now.

My flour and sugar are stored in their bright orange canisters that I inherited from my grandma. I think of her every time I pull them from the pantry.

I like Tupperware but it's so darn expensive. Once I found Lock N' Lock, they have been my go-to. Ditto. I do love Tupperware and I was even a consultant back in the day for about a month 😂. But once I found Lock ‘n Lock, I have been using only that. With Lock ‘n Lock, you CAN store spaghetti in it, and it won’t stain. That's what I love about it...none of mine have stained and I've had them for over 15 years! Plus, the smaller ones are great for snacks in lunch bags: goldfish, m&m's and whatever the heck else I can stuff in there!

We had Tupperware growing up, the lids to some containers were the kid plates in our house (rusty orange color), and we had a pitcher, and the puke bowl and probably some other stuff I don't remember...
The only things I own as an adult I bought about four years ago at a thrift store. Two pea green cannisters I put flour and sugar in. I probably paid about $10 for both.

I wish I had the vintage strainer.

When we married in 1972 my MIL had A pantry full of Tupperware but still frequented the party rotation and I was the recipient of all that was bought and she bought a lot! It is only in the last few months that I have handed on to DD the stock standard storage containers that we stored flour, sugar etc in but now the containers are far too big and they suit a large family and not just the two of us.
