I cannot believe someone could be so cruel to their child, or any child for that matter. You are angels for helping him. I pray you get the jeep back, I wonder if there are any local FB Jeep groups that could help.
Also, as mentioned, freeze his credit, it's easy enough to unfreeze when he needs it. She already stole from him 2 twice (bank account and jeep) don't let her wreck his credit.
