If you back up to google, is there a way to delete pics from google without deleting from your camera roll and vice versa? There has to be a setting I am overlooking. Thanks

I was just looking into this because I got the warning that my storage is almost full. I swear there used to be a setting like that, but I couldn't find it this time. I turned off backing up because I don't want to pay, but I will miss it because Google Photos has the best search ability that I've found. I have other cloud back up, though, so I guess I will focus on that instead.

I know that I can delete them from my phone and they are still on Google. The reverse I assume you need to go into the phones picture folder to see the photos not uploaded (deleted) from Google. But they will show up on the Google photos camera roll.
