I know I am in the minority but I just do not enjoy virtual events. I am also in the minority as I don’t mind traveling to in person events.
I looovvve Concord & 9th products. Fabulous

I imagine the cost will be similar to summer camp since they're saying the scale/duration will be similar.

I want to try this one. Do they give sneaks before you register?

C9 is my favorite and they've been killing it lately. Something to look forward to in the midst of winter doldrums. Sign me up!

I'm in. Three classes with Laura makes me happy. I enjoy her calmness.

They are all very calm and soothing instructors. I would say Laura is my least favorite of them, but they're all good.
Not sure about pop ups and shaker and inlays (oh my!) or my appetite for retreats and big boxes of stash at the moment.
Fence sitting am I....

I would love to do this but it's too much $$ for me at this time. Maybe next summer. Enjoy

Not sure about the sneak peeks. I was hoping for a winter theme, mountains, ski lodges, etc. The flower wreath is pretty and I like all the instructors. But it will probably be a pass for me.

I really like the sneaks! Great color combo, pop up elements, the wreath, the graphic turnabout. Trees & a-frame house works for me, too. The butterfly looks like it's from an inlay cover plate - love those. I'm still in!
ETA: and the instructors aren't annoying!

I love C&9th and agree with Ryann that (almost) none of the teachers are annoying to me, but the topics/themes/sneaks are not my jam.

I'm in. Three classes with Laura makes me happy. I enjoy her calmness. They posted in the comments that Kristina is doing the stencil and emboss, not Laura. It was a mistake on the slide. I'm on the fence. At the early bird price, that's $50 class. I've got enough butterflies to last me a lifetime LOL. I'm wondering if I'm burnt out on taking these classes. I'm not interested in the PinkFresh event either. Anyone else feel that way?

Yup — as I said in my post above, I’m just not sure how much appetite I have for these events right now at all.
This one is at least less relentlessly girly than Pinkfresh. I’ll continue to watch for additional info and sit on the fence.

Another fence sitter! On the one hand, I've always wanted to try a C&9 event, I've never done one. On the other hand, the sneaks aren't super compelling to me and the price is high. I loved what I saw in the last C&9th event and wished I did that one!

I only like two classes for sure. I will wait a little bit longer to make up my mind. I still have some classes from other events that I have to finish. So maybe I just have to work on those 😅

I think I’ll pass on this one. Love C&9! I’ve done all 4 summer camps and they put in so much attention to detail, have really fun events, great instructors.
Just the last few years, the projects aren’t my cup of tea. I think I finished 1 card this summer. It’s all really cute stuff, just not things I would normally purchase. I figured I’d try the Summer Camp to get outside my box and I’ve kept doing them for that reason. But I guess I’ve done enough to know that I really won’t use the product much after.
I loved the banter, the detail of professionalism in the classes… I like they show you with the video, then give you time to make while it’s live. It’s well run and worth the money if you love any/all of their product. However, I actually sold most of the product from the last couple camps. I’m not sure I’ve ever used the product from the first couple camps.
Maybe it just comes down to my own style and I like to pick and choose? I don’t know what it is, because I do purchase their products.

Totally feel you, nicoleq. I'm finding this with most events lately. Maybe it's just a matter of having figured out what we like or what our personal style is? Not C&9, but a recent event with another brand I bought a very similar set that worked better for me and sold the one in the event kit. Almost more importantly, when I'm not working with a big box o' stash and a homework list for an event I am more likely to engage with the products I shopped for and deliberately chose!

I signed up earlier tonight. I really enjoy the campfires and games. Even if I don't love every card, it's fun weekend. February is a great month too!

According to the early registration, this is the line up of instructors/classes/sets: - Cozy Cabin: Pop-up cards with Laura Bassen
- Garden Wreath: Creating Dimension with Meghann Andrew
- Floral Impression: Stenciling & Embossing with Kristina Werner
- Tuscan Vine: Triple-step stamping with Laura Bassen
- Quilted: Texture & Turnabouts™ with Meghann Andrew
- Butterfly Inlay: Inlays & Shakers with Kristina Werner
So, in trying to sort of align this with the sneaks, I find some seem obvious and others do not. Cozy Cabin is obvious, though I couldn't tell it was a pop-up from the sneak. The Garden Wreath, Quilted Turnabout, and Butterfly Inlay sneaks are all easily identifiable. I guess I'm having trouble distinguishing the Floral Impression from the Tuscan Vine. Anyone else have ideas on those or see something I've missed that would differentiate those two? Still on the fence, btw. I only need two of the ink colors, so I'd buy without. This would be the first Turnabout I've gotten in a kit that I wouldn't want to keep, but I suspect it would be an easy one to resell.

My assumption is that Floral Impressions includes the large floral cluster that looks to be stenciled on top of an embossed image (embossed via the embossing folder).

I’m so on the fence with this one. With the last one I realized That I just do not care for using turnabouts, and this new one leaves me cold. So, that’s one class for sure whose supplies I don’t want. If there is anyone not signing up who wants to purchase those particular supplies (at a reasonable price) let me know. It might just push me over the edge and into signing up.
* I cannot list it for sale on the C9 FB BST group because I was booted from it because I (quietly and without any fanfare) removed myself from another FB group (a local cardmaking group) that the owner runs. 🤷🏼♀️

Aha -- the "Hello Friend" card. Thank you. My brain was not parsing that image as dry-embossed, but I see it now. MichyM, I have never used a Turnabout from a kit after the event, but I like using them well enough, so I've kept the two I've gotten. But the quilting thing is definitely not for me. I'm sorry you got ousted from that FB group

As much as I was looking forward to this event, I'm passing. There's not one thing in the sneaks that appeal to me, not even the butterfly. I'm really bummed.
