leannec nice to have a new friend! I live a very boring life and most days I’m fine with that although I miss going out with my husband. Dinner here will be cheeseburgers. I’m thinking about making chicken and dumplings tomorrow. Does anyone have a great dumpling recipe to share? I’m a northerner and have never had chicken and dumplings! Here ya go! I like these because there is no egg. thecozycook.com/chicken-and-dumplings/I use 1 cup of milk as I can't use sour cream for DD. I also have 1/4 cup more milk on hand as sometimes due to weather I need more liquid. I do a little at time.

Dino Fest LA Natural History Museum In November, Gnatalie's area opens. She is a complete sauropod dino found in Utah that is green due to minerals that were in the water where she was found. One of a kind dino and LA for her!

Dino Fest LA Natural History Museum You would love the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta! It is the most comprehensive research and display dino museum in the world! People find artifacts in their backyards sometimes! I was there in July ... too many screeching kids for my liking but the museum itself is wonderful.

Hello from my couch! 🤗 I’m doing okay. Not really feeling the best and not eating much. It’s going to get better. It’s only been a few days.
Kaitlyn is over and she is making zucchini bread. I’m sure I’ll give that a nibble.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!!!

Thanks!

When she begins her geology/Paleontology classes she will be going to local dig sites. She has found several micro fossils at the museum where she works.

sueg , I really need to add opening day of Oktoberfest to my bucket list. I think it would line up perfectly with the end of a trip to Greece. Opening Day is MADNESS! There are very few reservations available for lunch, and people queue overnight to be ready for the rush at 9am when the grounds open! Yesterday, there were around 500,000 people on the grounds during the course of the day. The parade of the Bräumeisters, with all the horse carts 'bringing in the beer' is really something special to see, but we've only ever watched it (and the Sunday Trachtn Parade) from outside the grounds. We nearly always wait until the Sunday to go - it will still be busy, but not so crazy. The tent we go to is near where the parade ends, so we still get to see all the lovely outfits.
