It's a gorgeous dress, and as mentioned above, it's a style that works beautifully with their figure as well.
I remember sighing a huge happy sigh of relief when I found my own wedding dress. The rest of the planning was a lot more fun for me once that was accomplished.

It's a gorgeous dress (both of the dresses in the photos are lovely) and it's going to look amazing in black.

What a lovely dress!!
I'm SO looking forward to this with my own DD next year - wedding isn't until 2026 so we are holding off dress shopping for a bit.
I know my job is to sit and cry, and not to pull dresses lol. I'm a ballgown girl and she is very much a fitted, plain jane, no frills kind of girl. But I know I'll cry all the same.

What a great update. She looks amazing in that dress. She’s so lucky you’ve stepped up.
The venue looks really pretty.
I’ve done this with 2 DDs so far. 1st one ordered hers from JCrew and my middle dd just wanted to scope it out before her appointment on the weekend when my youngest dd & my sister were coming. The store let her try on that day and she said ok I’ll take this one. Canceled her appointment and that was that. We were shocked.

Smile and nod. Let her be the guide and you are there to say "how beautiful!" And, if the salesperson is particularly helpful, it's the current trend to tip them. (I'm sorry if this opens up a can of worms, but I'm not lying.) Really!? I would have been considered quite rude then because tipping a salesperson would have never occurred to me. I have filled out those “How are we doing?” type of cards asking if shopping in their store was meeting my expectations. I would comment about a salesperson that I felt had been very helpful, making sure to ask their name if they were not wearing a name tag so that their supervisor would know their employee was doing an exemplary job and that I appreciated them. I have even written to corporate via a website to express my satisfaction. But I would have never thought to tip. Is this being done across the board in all stores or just high-end clothing stores?

Thank you all!
We did tip the stylist who helped us. She was the only one there and will also being doing some alterations to the dress to customize it a bit more. I thought the token of appreciation and future goodwill from a tip was appropriate. She was thankful.
