I have a bunch of leftover grilled steak from Sat. night. I am making crockpot steak soup to use it up. Since it's already cooked, would you add it to the crockpot at the beginning or would you add it in the last 2 hours of cook time? I am using low temp on my crockpot and it says it takes 7-8 hours. What say the peas? TIA Steak and potato soup
***UPDATE*** I added the steak in the last hour. We honestly didn't care for the soup when it was done. Lesson learned. I should've just made a dang quesadilla with the leftover steak.

If it's already cooked, I would probably add it in the last two hours so it doesn't get tough.

Last 30 to 60 min. I don't think it should be in there for 2 hours.

Eh. I’d forget u til the last minute. I’d just chuck it in with everything else and let it go the full amount of time. It will get really tender and add flavor to the other components of the dish.

Just long enough to heat it through at the end.

I'd add it in the last 30 minutes.
