I went to reorder some favorite sparkly things and both SSS andSBdotcom are out. So, I did a google and the Studio Katia site won't come up and their last blog post was September 2023. No mention of them closing up.
I am SO bummed. Some of my most used sparkly things are from Studio Katia, and now I need to try and find their replacements. Anyhow, does anyone know if they're coming back? From my 2 minute search, it seems like closing up just HAPPENED with no notice :/

What? My favorite holographic discs are from Studio Katia. Sunny Studios has some of their products available but no Holo discs unfortunately for me.

Huh, that’s kind of crazy. I saw the last posts on her Facebook were a long time ago, and the few comments were about being ghosted and orders not shipping (I think they were 18 weeks -a year old). Was it a one woman shop? Maybe something bad happened in her life and she just bailed.

When I looked up the business blog/Fbk it was listed as based in Edmonton, AB Canada, but I think some of the Fbk comments mentioned the lack of phone number or mailing address anywhere to contact them. Canada made sense because Ardyth was one of the crafters I heard mention Studio Katia most often (she maybe was on the DT?) and I know Ardyth supports a lot of fellow Canadian businesses. |
