From start to finish?
Just curious. I used to scrap in batches so I couldn't answer this. Now that I have stopped scrapping that way and (usually) start one page and work on it until it's done, I am more aware how long one page takes.
And by page I mean one layout, not per side if you do two page layouts.

I am really trying to pre plan pages in my down time when I can't actually scrap but have 20 min or so to pick photos/paper, etc so I have cut down on my time but don't really know how to count the pre scrapping time. I am thinking at least an hour per page.

Once I have an actual idea and plan, and product I want to use, then assembly takes less than an hour, some less than 15-30 minutes. Work in progress >> having an idea, trying it and don't like it, try something else, leave it sit for awhile, go through all my products seeing whatever other products I might want to use, trying another idea, place an order and wait for product to arrive, go to Hobby Lobby to see what they ight have, re-do a slight portion of a page (usually title or photo placement), then finally having a final plan that comes together as I envisioned it in my mind >> sometimes a month or two or three or four. It's all good, it takes whatever time it takes. It will get done, when it gets done.

It depends on what I'm making, but most of my layouts take days. I work on my journaling a lot - it needs to be meaningful for me to like the page.

I selected other since I can only select one choice.
Between slightly under an hour to 2 hours.

I would say that it takes 1-2 hours. It depends on whether I choose the photos first, or whether I am using a sketch and then have to find photos to suit it. It's definitely quicker if I start with the photos rather than starting with a sketch. I spent about 2 hours last night trying to find photos to suit the Sketchtember sketches that I still have to do, and didn't get any actual scrapping done. What a waste of time!

typically about 30 minutes - sometimes shorter say for a simple one-page layout, sometimes longer esp. if there's something that needs to dry

If I don't preplan the layout, it could take almost 2 hours of hemming and hawing but if I preplan, it usually takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on how complex the layout is.

I selected "Other". My process sounds a lot like ScrapbookMyLife and my timeline a lot like A7.
If you set a timer from when I first decide to do a layout and pull out possible photos for the page to when I put it in the album immediately after it's complete ....... 2 days to 2 weeks.
If you set a timer for the time I'm actually at my desk actively cutting, cropping, tearing, painting, splattering, stamping, sewing, inking, outlining, printing, journaling, arranging, rearranging, gluing, stapling, etc. now you're looking at about 5 hours. (The 5 hours excludes time coming up with an idea/design for the page and selecting supplies and browsing for and/or ordering supplies which may take place over the course of 2 to 14 days or more.)

I have no idea. I do PL and do it in stages. One day I will plan what products I’ll use. Midweek I might print out. Couple Pictures I know I want to use and do my title card. Then I might come back at the end of the week and probably do everything else but journaling- and then do that another day. I drag it out as I enjoy piddling along - that’s fun for me so I don’t really care how long it takes. It would be hard to time anyway as I might be watching something during it and then stop scrapping to just watch it or text people, etc.

I'm left-brained, creatively-challenged, indecisive, & perfectionist, which makes the process S-L-O-W.

By the time I sit at my table and attempt to put it together, I am not always happy with my big plan I had in my head. At that point, anything can happen. It’s usually a drawn out process. But I enjoy the creativity aspect of it. And I am quite happy for finishing a page. Because I’m well aware of how slow I am, not a perfectionist any more, just slow.

Oh I wish I were quicker with making l/o-s. I voted 2-3 hours but it can be MUCH longer. Now if I actually have a concrete plan in mind I might be able to finish a page in an hour. But that's a rare occurrence. There's a l/o on my work table that's been there for over a week. Good question @breetheflea.

Depending on how much stitching I do on the layout. Most of my layouts are completed around 3-4 hours. Sometimes I go overboard and have spent 3-4 hours, just on stitching. 🤪

I enjoy the creative process so I am a slow scrapper as I fiddle around at creating elements and titles, trying techniques, etc.

I'm a very slow scrapper. At a 3 day crop I might get 2.5-3 layouts done. I love the process. I make tweaks and changes as I work. I like manual processes so I'll decide to fussy cut embellishments or do some stitching. It's never about getting a bunch of layouts done for me. I also get bored, so I'm always looking for a new technique, a new sketch, something different.

On average I probably spend between 1 and 2 hours on a layout. The one I finished last night came together in under an hour, but other pages will take me more than a couple of hours to put together. I enjoy the process, but I think I'm at a point where I've been scrapping long enough and am comfortable with my style that I can make most decisions pretty quickly and just get on with sticking things together.

Considering all facets of the layout: 1) Select, edit, print photos (either starting from a sketch OR finding a sketch to convey what I plan to do)
2) Select paper and embellishments 3) Trim paper to fit idea/sketch
4) Create custom embellishments as needed 5) Cut title (or select thickers/stickers/stamps) 6) Plan journaling and research if necessary 7) Admire and photograph to share
Sometimes it goes more quickly but almost always 3-4 hours, rarely under 2 hours.

I'm a very slow scrapper. At a 3 day crop I might get 2.5-3 layouts done. That is amazing. At a 3 day crop I usually aim for 20 pages. Most of my pages take from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. I don't feel like I'm a super fast scrapper, either, but faster than a lot of you. I already have all of my photos printed. I'm one of the crazy people that still print all of my photos at once. I'm not super creative with titles, so that doesn't take much thought. I don't journal very much. So my time is basically arranging paper and finding and picking out embellishments. It might take longer if I add some mixed media to a page, or hand stitch, or cut something on the Cricut, but I only do that stuff about 25% of the time. I wouldn't call myself a simple scrapper, either- my stuff is very embellished.

I've answered 2-3 hours on the basis of that being where I'm at right now. My creative mojo hasn't been flowing at all of late and things take way too long because my little neuro-spicy brain overthinks every little thing.
But when things are flowing, it's more like 1-2 hours of actual hands on making time.

I'm a slow scrapper. It takes me forever to finish a layout. I look through everything I have to see what I might want to use. Then I have to narrow it down. Then I second guess myself. After walking away, I'll come back and glue stuff down before I can change my mind again. It's all part of the process for me and I enjoy it.

I said 4-5 hours, I am a snail scrapbooker and I am okay with that. I scrapbook my family but to be honest these albums are mainly for me anyway. What is important to me is that I love my pages and enjoy the process rather than worrying about how much I get done.

I'm usually doing things in stages because I love to be working on it all the time basically. Pulling it all together as I go along! I don't think it actually takes me a HUGE amount of time, necessarily, but I like to be slow and enjoy the process, too, so it's certainly not a speedy thing, and that doesn't bother me!

I kept changing my answer and adjusting my estimates up. Sometimes I can do a layout in an hour or two, but I would say regularly it is more like three or four. By the time I get organized and move things around on my page, I can dedicate quite a bit of time to a layout. I think it feels like I get it done faster than I do because "I'm just going to scrapbook and finish something really quick" can easily suck up two hours
