How can this be week 5 already! LSU hosts a very dangerous South Alabama. If our defense shows up we should be okay. However, our best defensive player is out for the season. Who does your team play? Geaux Tigers!

Ole Miss is playing Kentucky. We'll be able to make it to this game, and I'm expecting huge crowds. The turnout has been getting bigger and bigger each week, and this is the first SEC game. Its supposed to rain until that morning and there is a high of 69. Its FINALLY football weather.

Hotty Toddy!!! Ole Miss is hosting Kentucky this weekend. Hoping for a conference win. I feel like this is the week the "real" games begin. Super jealous of JustCallMeMommy being able to attend the home games! Do ya'll pre-game in The Grove? The Grove experience is so much different now with the wall-to-wall tents than when we were there in the 70's. Back then you pulled your car into the grove, put up tables and/or dropped the station wagon tailgate and spread out your party food. So much fun! We also dressed for the games. As in nice dresses or skirt/blouse and heels typically, along with full makeup. Not sure if they still dress up like that or not. Last game we attended in Oxford was in 2004 when we took DD, trying to influence her to attend Ole Miss for college. She chose Auburn instead.

Last game we attended in Oxford was in 2004 when we took DD, trying to influence her to attend Ole Miss for college. She chose Auburn instead. We usually make it to The Grove, depending on game time. This one is early and we're driving up in the morning and back home afterward, so we will likely say hi to our friends, grab a chicken tender and a drink, then come back to the tent after the game. Its funny to me how many people never even go to the game. I'm sure the tent we go to is set up in advance by an outside company. Its huge - it is one of those party sized tents in a prime location. If people get there early enough, they bring cars or golf carts in the vicinity of their tent for drop-off, but most people roll up with wagons and/or coolers. You'll occasionally see groups set up around cars, but they are out in the parking lots. I don't dress up too much. I wear game colors and either a casual dress or a nice blouse. Tomorrow is a "stripe out" and my assigned color is powder blue, so I'm wearing blue jeans with a red stripe, a baby blue tank and light sweater, and a clear bag with an Ole Miss strap. The college kids will be dressed to the nines, and there will be plenty of adults who are ready for a fashion show. However, you don't see heels and panty hose any more, thank goodness! Even the people who are dressed up are almost always in tennis shoes or boots. This is the first fall-weather game, so the white boots will be everywhere. Your picture is awesome - I remember those outfits well, but the boys haven't changed at all!

TCU plays Kansas. On ESPN+ which I have refused to get, so far. But, I did notice today that I have SEC Network channel. Now that is cool. I have YouTubeLive TV. Good luck everyone. TCU 💜

They play Oklahoma and after 2 losses, I don't have much hope for them. War Damn Eagle. Univ of MD (DD is a Terp) plays at Indiana and I dont think they'll do well either. Roll Terps? LOL My JMU Dukes are coming home from a 70-50 win against UNC to play Ball State, I've never heard of that school. But according to what I read, it's gonna be a tough game. "Ball State is likely to be the second-best program the team has faced" GO DUKES!

Terrible first half. We have no kicker. But great 2nd half. Huskers win 28-10.

TCU beat Kansas. I had to keep looking up the score, while I was watching Texas. Next game - LSU, good luck cadoodlebug .

Not happy with the Ole Miss game final results. We lost by 3 points. As expected, DH's Bulldogs lost to Texas, but at least they scored! I had them as making 0 points!

LSU had a great game and won 42-10. We started the game with a long TD throw and scored in 14 seconds.
That GA vs Bama game was insane. If I was a fan of either team, I would have been going crazy!

I caught the last half hour of the GA - Bama game after sadly watching OSU crush my Spartans. That was a really fun ending! Also glad I didn't have a stake in the outcome!

Congratulations huskergal. After the first half I had a little bit of hope. But, like always, we imploded.

I thought Auburn was going to do it, but they fell apart at the end. That poor QB is getting destroyed on reddit.
UMD lost (as expected) but JMU crushed Ball state! So one of us (me) is happy today LOL
