DH is willing to go on an Anniversary trip! Somewhere warm We are thinking US Virgin Islands. Stay on one island? Visit all three, St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John?
TIA!

I am interested in the responses. I recently tried to book a trip there with 2 different travel agents and they both discouraged it. I will be watching to see what others say.

We love St John, but it's been 5 years since we've been there so no real current recommendations. But the last time we were there we stayed at the Westin - it was good.

We went to St. Croix in March. It wasn't our first choice, but we kind of waited until the last minute. We stayed in an Air BnB condo in a complex. The beaches were gorgeous, the weather was great. People were friendly. The downside is that there's a real problem with infrastructure and repairs aren't being made to hurricane damaged historic colonial buildings, roads etc. We were told by expats that local government is crooked and pockets money intended for repairs. If you're looking for nightlife and shopping, it's very limited. A few good restaurants.
