I like her and I saw an ad for the show on fb. Gave it a try the day it came out and BINGED the whole damn season in one evening and the next morning!
I really, really liked it! It was funny, dramatic and ornery (but not too much for me). The actors are great and the story weave is very clever.
Anyone else watch?
SPOILERS allowed after this OP! ;-)

Adding it to my to-watch list. Someone on Instagram also said it was great!

Its on my list, but as a Jewish woman, I am leery of the stereotypes. I hope it lives up to the hype!

Its on my list, but as a Jewish woman, I am leery of the stereotypes. I hope it lives up to the hype! I don't know much about the Jewish religion and looking at it from the outside, it intrigues me in a good way. :-) During the show, I looked up some words and rituals. It all made me feel like I wouldn't mind learning more. Some of the characters seem a little stereotypical. Especially the mother of Noah. But in a motherly way that doesn't come across because of her religion, but because she is an overprotective mom! (All religions have those! LOL) Hope that make sense. Give it a try! I'd love to hear what you think! :-)

I loved Kristen Bell ever since watching The Good Place! Just watched the first episode and if I didn't have to go to bed, I'd be watching more! Great show!

I watched the entire thing in day, the episodes are so short so it was easy to. As a millennial from Southern California Seth Cohen will always have my heart. It was a fun show.

I watched the first 5 episodes tonight, and I really enjoyed it. I've loved Adam Brody since The OC.

I really enjoyed it. I started it and my husband sat down into the second episode and we ended up watching it in one evening. I really enjoyed it.

Good to know I'm not the only one who refers to him as Seth and not his real name I watched the whole series yesterday - I loved it.

I'm not a fan of hers as she rubs me the wrong way but I enjoyed the show.
I wonder if there will be a season 2?

I messaged my daughter to say that she needed to watch a new show with Veronica (Mars) and Seth - two shows we watched togehter and loved. Even though I love Kristen Bell, I loved Seth more in this.

I think I'm 7 episodes in now. I love it. I don't think men like Hot Rabbi actually exist (not to say that good men don't exist, but younger men with that level of openness, self-awareness, security, and empathy) but it's a fun fantasy. Ha.

Do Podcasters really talk like that? And calling your friends bitch, and other stuff? Guess I'm not in the loop, but I don't communicate with my friends like that, but yeah it's just a show on TV and I watched it (being fun, sarcastic, like the show, as I'm a total dork). I think KB has a lazy eye or something as I have double vision and see it in her eyes. I love a good double vision eye.

I started it yesterday... loved it. I wonder about the "Hot" Rabbi though... do Rabbi's really talk/act like that?? I can't imagine. I put them on the same level as a preacher or a priest position. I'll be honest I don't have much interaction with the Jewish. There just isn't many around me other than my old boss.
He was awesome.. He married a Catholic woman, he always said that he met her 1/2 way.. he would do the sign of the cross, half way. Or he said they have a Christmas tree but it was all silver/blue with Jewish decorations. He had a great sense of humor.

I also watched it in one night. My family are gone visiting friends out of state, and I have a nasty virus. Just sat on the couch and binged away.
I loved Adam Brody’s character! @merge listed off all the adjectives. He also seemed so familiar to me, like I know him. Could that really be from 2003 OC? Or maybe there’s someone in my life. Or his acting is so good, the character is that real to me.
Anyway, there’d better be a season 2.

I'm 55 and have a group of friends that I do weekends with twice a year (well before covid we did) and we always refer to ourselves as bitches lol. We had shirts made for one of our weekends - instead of "thing 1 thing 2" we did Bitch 1-5 - and laughed the whole weekend. Our messenger chat is titled Bitches Weekend.

I started a post about this show a couple days ago not knowing that this thread existed. I loved this show! The “Ick” episode was one that I have been thinking about. My daughter is in a relatively new relationship with a young man that we have known for a while and he’s a high quality person. I hope that if there is an “ick” moment that she can see the difference between that and a red flag. He is not the kind of guy she has dated in the past. She likes a little swagger and then finds out these guys are not as great she initially thought. This new guy is likely to keep getting better as time goes on, but he might yell “Prego.” It’s far more likely that she will be the person who yells it.
