Appquel doesn’t seem to be as effective anymore. Dog is constantly licking his paws and rubbing his back on the floor. I keep seeing tons of ads on FB and TT for gut health chews or allergy chews to help. Any e tried any that actually work to relieve the allergy itchiness?

Have you been offered Cytopoint. It was the only thing that worked for Sadie, Toby, and now for Hope during her seasonal allergies.
Toby gets his shot every 4 weeks. Cheaper than Apoquel too.
Did you also change diet? Have the dog wear booties outside? Look at labs for any infection or yeast?

Also wipe the paws off after every time outside or wash them and dry well. The wipes helped Sadie with her contact grass allergy

I second the Cytopoint shot. It's pricey but luckily it lasts about 8 weeks for our dog. And since it's been prescribed, a Vet Tech can give it so it's a quick appointment.

Another vote for Cytopoint shot. Call your vet.
